Introduction: Donna Aurora Biehl has a job in hotel housekeeping. Job Summary: Donna Aurora Biehl provides cleaning services such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, washing walls, cleaning ceilings, windows, mirrors, and any other duties as assigned within designated areas of the hotel. She replaces linens, replenishes amenities, makes beds in accordance to set standards, and gathers rubbish and/or contaminated materials for disposal in guest's rooms. She performs housekeeping duties as assigned by the hotel housekeeping supervisor in accordance with policies and procedures. Specific Duties Performed: 1. Donna is responsible for the stripping of soiled items, emptying the trash, bed making, cleaning bathrooms, and placing amenities / supplies in designated areas of the hotel. 2. Donna respects guest's privacy and security by properly announcing entry into guestrooms and suites as assigned. 3. Donna provides cleaning services such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, washing walls, cleaning windows, mirrors, ceilings, and any other assigned duties, efficiently and effectively in the designated areas of the hotel. 4. Donna gathers rubbish and/or contaminated materials for disposal. 5. Donna dusts and cleans all guestroom and suite artwork. 6. Donna is cleaning and disinfecting all bathroom surface areas. 7. Donna properly uses and maintains assigned equipment and supplies to departmental specifications, including carts, vacuums, chemicals, and cleaning aides. 8. Donna does stairwells, halls, lobby areas, offices, guestrooms, suites, and elevators as assigned. 9. Donna maintains the daily log, including accounting for completed tasks, tracking issued keys, and reviewing the communications log on a routine basis. 10. Donna stocks the housekeeping carts to maintain adequate level of cleaning supplies and guestroom amenities. 11. Donna cleans guestrooms to the highest level of standards set by the director of housekeeping. 12. Donna demonstrates positive working relationships and communication skills conductive to a professional and friendly work environment with all departments. 13. Donna resolves and /or refers to management all guest requests and concerns. She Observes status and maintains common areas, including closets, complaints, and suggestions quickly, efficiently, and courteously in a continuous effort to provide exceptional guest service. 14. Donna interacts with guests in a courteous and efficient manner, maintains an eye for detail, and high standards of cleanliness. 15. Donna maintains professionalism, grace, and dignity at all times. 16. Donna greets each guest and responds to special requests. 17. Donna properly handles lost and found items in accordance with department policies and security procedures. 18. Donna complies with accident and loss prevention programs, as well as, health, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations. 19. Donna refrains from discussing company or personal business with guests. 20. Donna maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment. 21. Donna ensures the safety and security of all guest and team members by reporting any suspicious activity to the Housekeeping Supervisor and/or designee. 22. Donna attends training as required.
