- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer several pricing and financing options depending on your project and budget. Fence installation starts around $45 per linear foot, depending on the material and design. Financing is available for all fence types, including low monthly payment options starting around $49/month with $0 down. We also offer promotional financing options, including plans with no interest and no payments for up to 12 months, as well as longer-term plans with lower monthly payments. During your free on-site estimate, we can price several fence options so you can compare materials and costs. You’ll receive your estimate the same day. We also run several special offers throughout the year. Depending on your project and current availability, you may qualify for: • Up to $1,000 trade-in credit for your old fence • Up to $1,500 trade-in credit toward a new deck • Free gate with qualifying wood fence projects • Free Clear Cedar upgrade when available • 10% early-booking savings for projects scheduled in advance • Free stair lighting with qualifying deck projects Offers and financing options vary and some restrictions apply. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, you’ll have a quick call with our Customer Manager. We’ll ask about your location, whether you need a fence or deck, approximate size, and what materials or styles you’re considering. Then we’ll schedule a free on-site estimate - usually within a few days. Our estimator comes to your home, takes measurements, brings material samples, and walks you through the options, pricing, warranties, and installation. For decks, we also include a free 3D rendering so you can see what your deck will look like before we build it. You’ll get your price the same day. We can also prepare a few options with different materials or designs so you can compare them. Once you’re ready, we schedule the installation. We keep materials at our warehouse and deliver everything directly to your property. You’ll have a dedicated crew and foreman throughout the project. We also handle 811 utility locating and can take care of permitting when needed. Most fences take about 1-2 days to install, and most decks about 5-7 working days. Once the project is complete, we do a final walkthrough with you and your warranty begins.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our crews are trained and certified for the specific work they perform. We have dedicated specialists for fence installation, deck construction, and staining - rather than one crew trying to do everything. Our team completes manufacturer-certified training for the materials and systems we install, including cedar, composite and PVC decking. We also train our foremen internally on Optima’s installation standards — from proper post depth, concrete and spacing to waterproofing, flashing, fasteners and hardware. We’re also very particular about materials. We use quality, rust-resistant fasteners, hinges and hardware designed for long-term outdoor use in the Pacific Northwest. Every foreman has at least 4 years of hands-on experience, and some of our deck specialists have been building decks for 20+ years. The goal is simple: install every project correctly from the beginning, so it looks great and lasts.
