Introduction: Hello! My name is Serenity, I am a 200 hour certified yoga instructor serving the Snohomish and King County region. My niche is combining the practices of psychology and anatomy to traditional yoga practices in order to bring alignment between the mind and body. Today many people spend their time caught in their head, and disconnected from their bodies. I believe that it is important to ground ourselves and experience all of the joy of being alive. Through yoga we can improve both our mental and physical health. My mission is to share these benefits with others in a way that promotes overall physical and psychological wellness. Through an understanding of body anatomy and psychology I guide individuals through their personalized yoga journey. Sessions often include personalized flow classes with additional meditation and breath work designed to help my clients achieve their goals. Areas of focus include improved flexibility, strength/endurance, improved internal organ health, reduced stress, heightened self confidence, and more. I had a lovely experience taking a stress relief yoga class given by Serenity! It was the most calm, beautiful, welcoming environment. Serenity was amazing and taught us about the yoga poses we were doing and how it helps with reducing stress and improving our lives. I felt like learning why we do certain poses made such a difference. I love to know why I'm doing what I'm doing. When I was driving home after the class, I had all of these ideas for a business I'm creating. I feel like my energy was flowing so well after that class that I had a ton of inspiration which I haven't felt in a long time. This was so needed and I'm so thankful I went! Looking forward to the next one!!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    My standard prices are $75 per one-on-one session with an added $10 per additional person. Groups of five or more are a flat rate of $115 per session. In addition, I offer discounts for purchasing four sessions at once. I also have a sliding scale for clients who are unable to fit these rates into their budget. Feel free to contact me for more information.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    When working with a new client I first like to get to know them a little more. I will ask some questions about their experience with yoga, related health background, and preferences for yoga styles. With this information in mind I then take some time to create a personalized session plan to help my client achieve their goals.
