Hello! My name is Serenity,
Through an understanding of body anatomy and psychology I guide individuals through their personalized yoga journey. Sessions often include personalized flow classes with additional meditation and breath work designed to help my clients achieve their goals. Areas of focus include reduced stress, heightened self confidence, improved flexibility, strength/endurance, improved internal organ health... and more.
~About Me~
I strive to be the most authentic version of myself on and off my mat. For me this means creating a safe space for myself and others to express who they are and what they are going through at all times. My teachings and practice are not only for my students, but for myself as well. They provide a time of present awareness, reflection, grounding, and community connection. Nothing makes me happier than to share these moments of growth and authenticity with my students and the community around me. I am a 200 hour certified yoga instructor serving the Snohomish and King County region. In addition to holding a private yoga business I am a student at Bastyr University majoring in psychology.
My niche is combining the practices of psychology, anatomy and traditional yoga in order to bring alignment between the mind, body, and soul. Today many people spend their time caught in their head, and disconnected from their bodies. I believe that it is important to ground ourselves and experience all of the joy of being alive. Through yoga we can improve both our mental and physical health. My mission is to share these benefits with others in a way that promotes overall physical and psychological wellness.
~Private Yoga Mentorship~
Grow towards your personal yoga goals with one-on-one guidance and encouragement. Private sessions are a great way to recieve personalized feeback, advance your skills, or heal at your own pace. Included in private mentorship is yoga flow sequences, pose adjustments, meditations, pranayama, workbook activities, and more. Some focuses may include injury healing and prevention, internal organ health, flexability and strength, stress management, and cultivation of a regular practice. These sessions are for anyone looking for extra guidance and support in their yoga journey. All students who purchase four private sessions also recieve a discounted price and one free studio yoga class per week.
~Private Group Sessions~
Grab a group of friends and enjoy an intimate yoga session. Perfect for any event, these sessions build community and always create great memories. Classes can be held at my studio space, or another location of your choice. Prices vary depending on the group size and location.
~Yoga Teacher Mentorship~
Mentorship provides an opportunity for advancement in teaching skills, personal practice, and even business skills. Benefitial for new and well seasoned teachers alike. These sessions are tailored to each individuals goals and growth journey. Some material covered includes the basics of creating yoga sequences that flow well, marketing techniques, building workshops, finding locations to teach yoga, removing limiting beliefs, building confidence, hands on adjustments, ways to fight burnout, and more! If you are looking to build upon your teaching skills, this mentorship is for you!
