Introduction: Finding the right therapist is important to your success in finding the enjoyment and fulfillment you once enjoyed. I am a mental health therapist who can help you get back to where you were, to that place in your life when you were satisfied and happy. My passion in therapy is a strength-based, solution-focused approach to cognitive behavior therapy, collaboratively designed to help you make changes in behaviors and/or ways of thinking and perceptions that are no longer working for you. My 13 years of experience includes the following: * domestic violence/sexual assault counseling * child welfare advocating for families and children * behavior health therapy treating a wide range of mental health disorders * case management helping people get connected with resources * crisis intervention I divide my time between my private practice and mental health professional crisis work in King County. My style is warm and relaxing, and my goal is to provide you with skills and tools for you to be able to make lifelong changes to achieve a healthy, quality and enriched life.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It is important to choose a counselor/therapist that you feel comfortable with, and are able to establish a respectful and collaborative working relationship. I feel it is essential to meet with people prior to counseling to see if we wil be able to work together and establish a working relationship, which I do for 30 minutes at no charge prior to our first appointment.
