- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
when I do a bid, I pick the standard window size, using that as a yardstick I count the windows (counting larger windows more than once) then choose a multiple $ amount that fits the standard window to find the price, sometimes for tricky ladder work I have to add a little more usually I bid window cleaning inside and out, and clearing the gutters on each house I bid the bid doesn't oblige the customer to any work by me then the customer can choose to do it all or just the outs or just a couple of windows or only the gutter that's a problem any
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
when I have the following: name, address, phone number, I am able to promptly get the customer a firm bid , not an estimate, the actual price for the work
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I had a successful business in Portland OR from 1988 to 2006 washing windows and clearing rain gutters. in 2006 I moved to Olympia WA was 5 yrs a counselor and for 2 years a high school teacher, all the while doing windows on the side.
