KD&DD Landscaping has been in business for 14 years years and is all family owned and operated. We have knowledge of all landscaping needs and fencing and decking. We are very well versed in all plants, shrubs and trees. we are equipped with all the specialty tools to do any job any size. We can always supply references from commercial to residential. We also do hauling.
We enjoy all aspects of the work and pride ourselves in our finished product. Traveling around the area is a high lite of our business. Being referred by our 70 + regular year round customers has made our business what it is today.

I hired KD&D to get my overgrown yard back to looking like a normal yard. They exceeded my expectations. They put in a lot of work on my overgrown grass, trees, bushes and flowerbeds which transformed my yard to make it look nicer than when I originally bought my house.

I just hired KD & DD Landscaping and am very pleased by their quality of work. They've done a great job with our lawn and we are constantly getting compliments on the landscape from clients/friends that come to our home. I would highly recommend this company for your landscaping/maintenance needs, either at your home or your business. In less than a week, our home has taken on a completely different look and feel - and we are so happy to have them landscaping for us!

I give them two stars because Ken came and meet up twice to do the estimate. However, he was really poor on communication. When I have decided to go with this contractor snd was just waiting on the final quote amount ( which I was never given one ), he stopped responding my phone call or text. You can expect to get things done if you can’t even reach your contractor even before they start the job. I will not go with them again even Ken keeps saying he can bid all others price.

Sorry my company cannot wait around Forever on projects and that is what exactly happened on this because of a homeowners association snap Miss hang was dealing with we decided not to do the project for her she kept calling us back to come back up which was an hour drive for our company to rebid thing because of a homeowners association that wouldn't let her do things she wanted to do to find out a couple of things she had the contact accounting what she asked us to do we did that and the county wouldn't talk to us since we weren't a party to the buying of the lot therefore we've had her know she had to do that and we never got a straight answer on how far to go with a fence and how far to go with some soil I'm sorry she feels that we miscommunicated however like I said I did communicate with her I'm actually gave her a bit then she wanted to change the bit this was a very large bid that took us hours to do both in time going to the site and time putting it on your computer once again I was just say look at all the rest of our reviews out of many many reviews this is only one of the two and this one we weren't even working for her she never hired us she never accepted the bid she asked for a new bit and that's when we decided that we weren't going to do this project Sincerely Jenn KD&D Landscapes

We had nothing but issues with this project. Kenn didn't start when planned and failed to communicate with us at every step. Kenn was supposed to start on Memorial Day. Midday I called him to find out if perhaps he planned on starting the next day being that it was memorial day. He had forgotten it was Memorial Day and confirmed he would start the next day. No big deal. Then he didn't show up that day either. I called and text and heard nothing. We assumed he flaked, then the next day he just showed up late afternoon and started digging. No communication whatsoever. I was frustrated, but let it go and asked him to be sure he communicates with us regarding the project. Then he didn't show up again the next day, and again didn't communicate with us. The day after that he again just showed up midday, again failing to communicate with us. As far as the excuse of parts coming in untimely or delayed, that is reasonable; what is not reasonable is telling your customers you'll start at a specific day and at a specific time and failing, not once, twice, or even four times, but five separate times to communicate such alleged delays, but instead leaving them in the lurch. I am not unreasonable and do not expect a business to drop everything for me. My husband is in the service industry (plumber), so I am acutely aware that things happen, and I am very understanding, when I am not left in the dark. What I would never expect is for a business to flat out ignore me for the better part of a week (on more than one occasion), REPEATEDLY fail to communicate (even when SPECIFICALLY asked to do so) when the agreed upon schedule for a project changes, and completely disregard my wishes as to my property.
When the irrigation system was installed it was not done as we had discussed. The sprinklers were all hitting our brand new fence, and in fact were going OVER our fence and barely hitting our yard. I very specifically told him we did not want the sprinklers hitting the fence. In fact when he mentioned it would either hit the fence or we'd have to pay $100 extra for an extra sprinkler head, I told him I'd rather pay more for it to not hit my fence. Why Kenn believes anyone would think someone would want sprinklers hitting a brand new $8,000 fence, and in fact, not watering their yard, but their neighbors, is beyond me - it makes very little sense. That said, in fairness he did come back to adjust the sprinklers and put in another head so our entire yard was covered.
The sprinklers have been sticking off and on since he installed them. As a result, in our backyard a pool of water collects in one spot and in the front it just sprays our house! I've tried contacting him three times to ask him to come adjust the sprinklers and I've gotten radio silence. As far as his claim that he's received no contact from us, interestingly I've contacted the same number We used throughout the project, and have delivery confirmation that he's read our messages. Oddly enough, he's willing to respond to a review, so obviously he knows that there are issues existing, but has done nothing to fix them other than respond to an honest review with accusations, assumptions, and excuses. That in itself should tell prospective customers of how this person does business.
We can't use the sprinkler system without ruining our house and yard, so effectively we just handed this guy $1,500 to give us a very frustrating experience with nothing in return! As far as our grass being the greenest in the neighborhood, well, I'm not sure if he's aware, but there are other watering methods. Beyond that he is very aware we utilize True Green as, due to his failure to communicate and arbitrary project schedule change, we had to redo a lawn treatment.
In summary: TERRIBLE customer service, shotty work, and subpar system. I DO NOT recommend you have a sprinkler installed by this company!

To my prospective customers of course I have heard nothing from this lady about the sprinkler systems not working since I went and fix them for her on her first complaint I admit that they were hitting her fence however in the very beginning it was a saying or she didn't mind as a little water on a cedar fence doesn't hurt it after all we live in the northwest however I went back and fixed it and charged her no extra money and went back and fix the one sprinkler that was sticking and haven't heard anything from her since no text no emails no phone calls and yes of course I know about it now because I read my reviews to make sure everyone's happy and so once again I'm not going to get into an arguing match over this I'm just going to rest on the reviews that everyone else has given me hopefully this one review won't keep me from getting more jobs it is obvious that this lady is just out to hurt me and with that said I will close this reply and not reply again thank you sincerely Kenn@k D&D Landscaping
