That Mark Johnson Design

Introduction: I think it's because I work with my clients to bring them along and keep them in the loop as I go through the design process. This helps us get to the heart of what they expect and need their designs to do, which helps me deliver designs that are what the client wants. I really like when my clients get excited about what I've shown them. It's an excellent feeling. I think there's always some trepidation on the clients' side of things at the beginning, because design is an uncertain process and there's no guarantee that it's going to work out. But that's why the collaboration between client and designer is so great, because you get to help create your project as it's being built. And I think it's usually after the second round of revisions when clients really start to look at what we're making and get excited about it and the direction it's going and that's awesome to see.
