This was a tough review to write as there were some highlights but also some severe negatives. I would probably give somewhere between a 2.5-3 stars. People Movers got back to me quickly after I inquired about a quote from them. They were straightforward and easy to talk to. The move we were trying to coordinate was a little over 2 weeks out and Elena was great and working out several different times and dates for us to choose from. Piece of cake so far. The day of the move arrived. The movers arrived in the time frame as promised and were very nice about getting the truck in the exact place needed. I walk them through our 1 bedroom apartment and they get started. This is when things start going a bit south. I've used numerous moving companies of all kinds now; full on professional movers and the slightly more budget friendly movers. I've also done enough moving on my own to know that moving is not an easy job. It's why at a certain point in your adult life, you begin to pay a moving company to move your stuff for you; it's a physically demanding job. For that reason, I never mind it if a mover needs a quick break here and there. I totally get it. However, I also expect that the movers that I'm paying for are more physically in shape and capable of the job from start to finish. It became very clear early on that one mover was great at his job (Zaran) but the other mover was not. He was very inexperienced and just not as up to the physically demanding aspect of hauling furniture and boxes for hours. It was also difficult that he spoke zero English. Please don't get me wrong; his inability to speak English wasn't what made him bad at his job but it doesn't help if I can't at least communicate basic requests, concerns or questions to him especially given his inexperience in the moving industry. We don't have a lot of stuff overall and again, having used enough moving companies by now for comparison, I know that to move the amount of stuff we have takes on average 3-4 hours from start to finish. When we hit hour 3 and we still had more to load; I realized we were going to be way over that timeframe. So I started hauling stuff to the moving truck as well, which I have never had to do with any other moving company. To be fair, I was hauling some of the lighter things but I still was hustling back and forth with the guys to get the job done which was a bummer as the point of not doing a DIY move was so that I'd have the physical energy of unpacking and getting us moved into the new place. In the end, it took considerably longer than it should have. Zaran was great and I would work with again but the problem with the more budget friendly moving companies is that it's a mixed bag of who you might get as your movers for that day and that can really change the experience. They did provide wardrobe boxes (though a couple of them were in bad shape) and seemed to have extra boxes to use free of charge (we didn't need any) and with the exception of one of our side tables, nothing else was broken or damaged as far as I can tell. Zaran worked really hard and tried to make up for the lack of the other person's capability. Zaran did offer a decent discount as he knew the move took longer than it should have, for the damage to the side table and for me helping out too. That was very appreciated and helped lessen the sting of disappointment. I tipped the movers (Zaran got a bit more as he did a much better job), gave them water bottles through out the day and they of course had use of the restrooms. Would I use People Movers again? Sadly, no. The move ended with more frustration and me being tired and not ready to jump into unpacking our place as I had hoped I would. No one was rude or mean but there was just a level of inexperience and efficiency that was a little too lacking, even with Zaran doing a good job in and of himself.
Corey and his team are awesome! I didn't have much to move but needed a couple extra hands to help out with the heavier items. They showed up 10 minutes early and went straight to work. They got everything moved in a very timely manner and were very careful and considerate of all my belongings. I would highly recommend Hardcore Home Improvement for your moving needs large or small Very Satisfied customer!!!
Majestic Moving did an awesome job on my move. The guys that moved me were efficient and careful with all my things. I was moving things to a small storage unit and I knew it was going to be a tight fit. The guys did such a good job being strategic about fitting everything in to the storage unit, I had room to spare! And best of all, they did the move in way less time than was estimated. Would definitely hire again for my next move.
I cannot recommend A2B Moving enough. I have used other moving companies in the past and found that when they charged hourly, the movers were slow and took frequent breaks. For this quick move I decided to try a new company and I was so pleased with my communication with the company and especially the two men who were sent to move my things. The movers were friendly and efficient. Despite a few setbacks to the original plan (the couch didn't fit in the elevator, etc.) they maintained their friendly personality and moved everything quickly.
These two men moved six items of furniture in a short period of time. I appreciate their professional attitudes & quick moving of my large furniture.
I was not able to be there- so my parents were there to facilitate the move. My dad owned a moving company and has never been more impressed than he was with Leon. Leon was on time, professional, and took great care of my possessions. Thank you Leon!
I have boxes to unpack but I don't have time to write a small novel like they deserve. But I highly recommend this company. If any of my friends or co-workers need a moving company. I'm definitely passing down this companies info. They can early/ move furniture like some true movers (no time for games type of movers lol).. I've never employed a professional window cleaner before and was extremely happy with Tony's work, professionalism and his kindness! He arrived on time, worked around the other workers who were here, not only without complaints, but setting his work areas up to be safe for him and others. We had some of our windows replaced & some not -- he was careful to explain, why those that were no longer sealed, didn't show as clearly. But you could still tell that they were now clean. He even went to the trouble to clean off paint droplets from a previous painting adventure they had done ourselves a few years back. He cleaned all the screens & tracking for the sliding doors & windows and even dusted & cleaned away the cobwebs in the skylights, so our cleaning lady wouldn't have to get up on a high ladder to do it. He worked around the piles of boxes & stuff we have scattered about as we are trying to get things ready for a move. He made sure I had safe places to move about, as I am still not as steady on my feet, even with my cane. Tony spent about 5 hours here doing all the windows / inside & out & only took short breaks for water. I would most definitely hire him again, if we weren't moving and we wish him the best of luck in all his endeavors.
Booking and setting up appointment was fast & easy. I hired 3 movers and 1 truck. Movers were professional & hard working. I believe the only break they took was the drive between my old house to my new house. I gave a 4 star rating for these reasons... As stated above the movers were professional, however they could not figure out how to take apart a crib. I had to do it myself. I also had to put it back together on my own cause they said it was for safety reasons which I guess was fine, but other times that I've moved with other companies the movers always took apart and put the crib back together with no problem. Also they didn't know how to put a bunk bed together. I had to assist which was a pain cause I have a 2 year old toddler who was at my feet some of the time. Mind you, I took the bunk bed apart prior to movers showing up to save time. But like I said other companies/movers put it back together with no problem & no instructions. Other than that my experience with All Service Moving company was good.
Local boys did an amazing job great price point..I was really impressed by there work! I will be doing business with them moving forward...They are very good at working around your busy schedule which is great for me...
We hired Won't Stop Moving for a small job - moving a small office to another office space close by. They showed up promptly, got the work done quickly, and charged a very reasonable fee. Highly recommended.
Renata came and completely cleaned my home from top to bottom. It needed a deep clean - kids and dog and weeks of neglect. She was responsive, professional and did a fantastic job - even doing smaller items I didn't think about to ask for. I will be using her from now on.

Awesome sums up my moving experience with "The Moving Clique." Quality Customer Service, Quailty Customer Care. Sunday June 3rd. My daughter needed to move quickly. While she worked, I researched movers on Thumbtack. Did the whole online research and inquiry. I called "Smooth Movers" 5 Star reviews on Thumtack who said they could do the job and I was given a time. I told them great and that I had to call my daughter to make sure the time worked for her. When I called the company back to confirm the time the owner said he was running into a meeting, and his associate would call me right back. After 3 hours of waiting with no return call, I called them again. I was told unfortunately the appointment time was no longer available and they were completely booked on Saturday. Ofcourse I was not happy and expressed it. The co-owner then assured me he would find a crew to move my daughter on Saturday June 2nd and would call me back. He never did. (I PLAN TO WRITE A REVIEW ON "Smooth Movers" and their nonresponsive poor Customer Care) HERE IS WHERE "THE MOVING CLIQUE" COMES IN. Found them on Thumbtack as well with a 5 Star rating. And true to their rating they are a 5 STAR moving company, unlike "Smoot Movers" My call to "The Moving Clique" was very last minute because the other appointment fell through, although extremely busy "The Moving Clique" came through. We had to wait but they graciously worked us in and got the job done quickly and efficiently. It was worth the wait. The guys were pleasant quick and efficient ... they provided quality customer care deserving of a 5 STAR rating. Thank you Marcus for coming through for my daughter. These guys were very professional and made our moving day so easy! It was my first time using a moving company and i was worried it wouldn't be a pleasant experience. Camilo and Joe took the utmost care of our furniture and belongings and got the job done in a timely manner. I would recommend them to anyone looking for reliable movers!
Rutchel was very professional and detail oriented. She helped me unpack and professionally repack my household items that were already in storage that were headed out for my international move. Moving my items internationally requires me to have a list of every item, and have boxes numbered accordingly. We also needed to write down the serial numbers of every one of my electronics . She was very efficient and got through close to 80 boxes in the 6 hours I hired her! Thank you Rutchel!
Becky (Gal to the Rescue) is amazing. There's nothing she can't organize and she's awesome for projects big and small. When I started looking around for organization help, I was overwhelmed. My job keeps me very busy, and I had boxes from a prior move, no systems to keep things organized, too many clothes that weren't my style/didn't fit, and just a bunch of random things that I didn't need. I wanted to minimize a bit and get organized so I could find things when I needed them. I turned to Thumbtack to find someone, and I'm so glad I found Becky. We met to talk about the project, assess what needed to be done, and set up a plan. It no longer felt overwhelming - while I did have to spend time saying yes/no to the way she sorted things (give away/keep/store), it felt like she got what I wanted to do and very few things required re-sorting. I felt absolutely comfortable having her in my home when I was there or not, and she was just excellent at keeping everything minimized so my day-to-day life wasn't impacted. One other awesome thing is that Becky is also super-resourceful - she knows the best places to get organization accessories, donate things, shred things, dispose of things properly, etc. She truly is a Gal to the Rescue! I'm so happy I went with this company for my cross town move. The team was very professional from start to finish. They moved quickly and efficiently and were cheerful the whole time. The crew wrapped everything carefully and all my things arrived at my new home in excellent condition. They made moving our entire family's home so easy and effortless. I will not hesitate to recommend this moving company to my family and my friends!
