- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
You must always study changes in music and the moods that go with it, music has a beat pattern to it that you must know, starts and finishes of mixes, and your equipment is always being improved, also playlists for customers personal tastes must be created. there is allot that goes into your technology that you must know, sound is an art with very complicated instruments, field and sound processers filters, E,Q, and crossover networks, lighting DMX chains, truss work. you name it there is allot of educating that goes with it.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have a love for technology and music, I have been an entertainer my whole life as well as a technician, I was and am a professional musician and DJ, karaoke host, recording tech, lighting tech, I.T. professional, and a stage sound and lighting tech. It is a hobby and a profession, In my free time I am a Luthier also. (Builds Guitars)..
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Weddings mostly, and stage performances, karaoke is still alive and well in the area too.
