After stalling on a DIY kitchen remodel, we knew we needed a true professional — and Serg & Demetrie from Carpenter4You was the perfect choice. Our original cabinets weren’t standard size, and I wanted to upgrade to a more modern European style. Serg brought not only his years of cabinetry expertise but also an incredible eye for design possibilities I never imagined. For example, a narrow cabinet I thought could only store cookie sheets became a custom spice rack! He also helped us choose the perfect classic stain and even designed symmetrical custom cabinets near the stove that look like they were always meant to be there. Throughout the process, Serg was responsive, professional, and respectful of our home. He covered our floors, left the workspace spotless each day, and even surprised us by properly installing our dishwasher (which the store never actually hooked up). His ability to use affordable materials while making everything look high-end speaks volumes about his skill and artistry. I’m already thinking of other projects Carpenter4You can help us with.

I worked with Serg to move kitchen cabinets to garage and install the new cabinets in my fairly large kitchen. I have worked with many contractors but Serg’s quality of work is on a different level. He is smart, innovative, detail oriented with strong communication skills, and is very committed to delivering quality work. For example, I was positively surprised by his outstanding work quality in delirivering perfectly installed cabinets, installing cabinets in my sloped garage, cutting crowns when they weird-shape walls, and fixing multiple deficiencies in cabinets delivered by the manufacturer. Serg is also very knowledgeable in anything related to wood including cabinets, flooring, etc. He gave me so many valuable advices that made my life much easier throughout the home improvement process. Overall, if you are looking for a responsive, punctual, and committed someone that can exceed your expectations at a reasonable price, you should go with Serg.

He was great. We wanted a hidden door built in a closet, under a stair case. He helped us understand what the options are, the trade offs of each, etc. He then built the door offsite the following week and installed it two days later. The whole job took less than 2 weeks from initial conversation to completion. Additionally we had him fix a spot of exterior siding that an electrician had screwed up. He was able to figure out what was needed and fix it the same day he was installing the door. Highly recommended and will absolutely work with him again when we need a carpenter in the future.
