I hired Jarrod to assemble my IKEA furniture. There were seven different items but Jarrod organized his work as such all seven furniture would be assembled in the least time possible. I really liked how he goes about his work with true professionalism - starting from assembling the nuts that go together, doing a thorough work of organizing the pieces, assembling them, testing and then cleaning up after he is done.

Pat was a life saver! I had an entire bedroom set of IKEA furniture to put together and couldn't possibly have done it myself. Pat replied to my Thumbtack request promptly, was always easy to communicate with, and arrived on time and well prepared for the job. When the job turned out to be way more complicated than either of us had anticipated--an eight drawer dresser instead of a six, a bed with a million pieces to put together instead of just a frame and some slats--Pat returned to my home to complete the job the next day, even though we'd both assumed it would be an afternoon's project and the commute for him wasn't insignificant. He went above and beyond what he'd agreed to do originally and seemed to take genuine pleasure in the careful completion of a job well done. For example, two of the dresser drawers didn't quite close smoothly when originally constructed, so Pat broke out his tools and adjusted the runners himself. I would highly recommend P@ Carpentry & Handyman and will hire him again if I have a similar project.

Michael is a master of creating beautifully upholstered furniture. We had 10 dining room chairs which were previously upholstered in silk. Michael reupholstered them with the exact detailing of the piping, buttons and polished the wood, too. We couldn't be happier with the entire process. We've selected some more projects for him since his work is so amazing and exquisite. His fees are so reasonable, too. You'll be very happy that you selected Michael to do your work. His knowledge and skills are amazing. Thank you, Michael!

Vasey recently reupholstered a pair of chairs I bought on Craigslist. He was very patient as I struggled to pick a fabric I liked and was a helpful resource when I had questions. When I finally dropped off the chairs and fabric he noticed imperfections in the fabric. I am so impressed by his attention to detail and very grateful that he alerted me and the company of the problem. Ultimately the chairs and matching pillows turned out amazing. The quality of his work is more than I could have ever expected. I am already recommending him to friends.

We asked Mike to paint an accent wall in our living room. He came in and moved all the furniture(he neither broke scrapped or otherwise damaged anything) laid down tarps and went to work. He was quick and clean. He did what is called a cooper wash on the two walls. I thought I was paying for a paint job, I know have art work on my wall. All of our friends are amazed on what was done. I tell them to call Mike to get their own art work done. He is better than good. I recommend him first for a great job done in a timely manner for a good price. I am serious, this guy is excellent.

What a joy it was to work with Ashley, bringing my antique sideboard back to its former glory. I couldn't be happier with the job she did, or with her helpfulness. Wonderful!

I hired Custom Fence Company to build a large and very complex fence with three different fence types. They arrived on time for the estimate. They provided very good guidence and recommendations and made it easy for me to make the decisions. Their quote form was easy to read (typed and sent by email). I hired them and they arrived on time to start the job and my fence is beautiful! Twice when they were building it, they had questions and they stopped and found out what I wanted, giving me options (one was a plant that was in the way). They were professional, fast and the finished fence is perfect! I would hire them again and I have recommended them to my family and friends! --Carl

Robbie Bumpus is an artist with wood. He has repaired and created many pieces for me. The repairs were on antiques and his workmanship and knowledge of what would be appropriate impressed me. Visiting him in his studio is always like a trip back in time when doing excellent work and offering gracious service are the important values. I cannot praise Robbie's work and ethic high enough. I am originally from Michigan. My career began in high school where I assemble lots of students' stuff for their dorms together. Since then, I've been dedicated to do this on my own, where I got customers from Lowe's, Sears, and IKEA. The energy of the people makes me keep moving forward.
