Introduction: What is CATZ sports performance training? CATZ sports performance training is all about preparing the athlete for the physical demands of their sport. CATZ sports performance training is going to look at the strength and weaknesses of each athlete and create workouts that will benefit and enhance the athlete's fitness level. The goal of all CATZ sports performance workouts are to maximize conditioning and stamina, develop better balance and core stability and improve overall quickness. CATZ sports performance is training the way you play. Meaning, we don't use machines to get you fit; you get yourself fit. Every workout is different, to keep the athlete on their toes and ready to work hard each time they come in to train. By developing total body strength, this allows for injury prevention and transfer of ability out on the field. Each class has either 1 to 6 athletes. The duration of the workout is 1 hour long; athletes choose the day and the time they desire to train. This training will be harder and more specific than their sport practice. This is the training ground to getting better as an athlete. This is where athletes train. Note: Your performance coach will provide testing to help you track your progress. Sessions are completed in a group setting for scheduling efficiency and camaraderie, as well as providing peer competition. Maximum is 6 per group. CATZ sports performance athletes also have the chance to earn their CATZ t-shirts. These t-shirts are based on a progressive achievement program. CATZ sports performance is about training like sport! It's time to prepare to be great!

CATZ is not just excellent, it's exceptional. I'm a 28 year old female athlete and I use CATZ primarily to train for competitive sports, but I also workout there to prepare for ski season and stay fit during my off season. As a former college soccer coach and current personal trainer, I'm picky about where and with whom I train. The staff at CATZ, especially Anya, are knowledgeable and experienced and they challenge you in a fun and safe environment. While I use their performance training, I've also seen them run many of their adult fitness classes for people of all age, ability, and fitness level and they do a wonderful job. I recommend CATZ to people all the time without hesitation and I'd be there everyday if I could. I've never experienced such physical and mental gains as I have since I started training regularly at CATZ and I dare you to find a better hour-long workout!

Both of my children daughter (15) and son (13) participated in CATZ last summer based on a recommendation from a friend. My daughter wanted to get into shape for high school soccer tryouts and my son, for football. Anya was great with both of the kids. She is postive, knows what she is doing, and knows exactly how to train athletes of various ages and abilities. The kids definitely improved their fitness level in an intense, motivating environment. They were enthusiastic to attend each and every session and never complained about going--they wanted to be there each and every session. We look forward to joining CATZ again at the end of the high school season to supplement the club soccer practices and maintain a good fitness level during the club soccer season. I'm planning to give it a try to help myself get into shape while my daughter is practicing at starfire.

I am so excited to be able to give a review to CATZ in Tukwila. I have been going there for about 8 months now and my experience has been nothing short of amazing. The coaches/trainers Anya, Jordan and AJ are all excellent at working with people of different levels. They get to know you and your body, and tailor the workouts to your needs. You really feel like you have your own personal trainer for a tiny fraction of the cost. Classes are spread throughout the day, parking is easy, and the staff very friendly. The Physical Therapists onsite offer their "Bumps and Bruises" sessions where you can discuss any injuries and they will give you advice, exercises, stretches etc to help you recover. Overall, there is no better fitness center in the Seattle area.

Anya was great! My 8 year old daughter loved going to training sessions with Anya. She really helped her learn about basic athletic training and made working out fun. My daughter gained confidence from each session and this motivated her to want to try different sports.

I've gone to catz for about two years and it has helped me alot. During a session you work your butt off, you may be sore after but its the good kind of sore that you are proud of. While going to catz I stayed in shape, and, I am a runner, my times have improved which helps alot when you are a runner. Catz is a great experiance that makes you work hard, and is fun at the same time.
