On the day of service, they were about an hour late due to a previous job running over. I had asked him to focus on the dark spots at the edge of each stair, near the baseboards. I appreciate that he let me know that he'll do his best but couldn't use too much water since it would risk damage to the baseboards.
I was satisfied with the cleanliness of the carpets, but the carpet felt crunchy. I thought this may have been leftover shampoo and after discussion with Marcel, he mentioned that it may just be the type of carpet and the age, as shampoo is typically not left behind with their process.
I was able to confirm that it wasn't shampoo by checking that the carpet did not foam when water was applied. Overall, I appreciate Marcel spending his time to educate me on the process as well as offering to double check/redo work in good faith.
