I give very customized attention to each dog according to what will benefit him/her the most. I will only pair your dog with a very positive match to ensure positive socialization and safety. I offer on leash running for dogs that really need to blow off some energy, I love to run with them and I love every minute of seeing how happy it makes them! I will always go at a healthy pace based on your dogs individual needs. I want all my dogs to enjoy their outings with me equally. Having clients that are ALWAYS tremendously happy to see me!!! I also love being out and active in the fresh air, rain and snow and being with friends that love it as much as I do. The dogs that I work with touch my life and I truly love them.

Melanie is professional, energetic, smart, responsive and best of all...an experienced dog handler who uses only force-free, positive reinforcement-based methods when working with dogs. I couldn't be happier to have found someone so well qualified! I know that my dog Rosie will be treated in a loving, thoughtful and caring manner and will have a lot of fun in the process! I particularly like that she avoids the dog parks where trouble often lurks in both expected and unexpected ways. This means my dog is in a safer environment; one that concentrates on building a relationship between a few select dogs and Melanie. Love that! I've been searching awhile for a walker with the right qualifications and couldn't be happier to have found Melanie!

We are so thankful to have Melanie run our large and energetic dog Finn twice a week! He is sooo happy to see her, knows when she is walking up the drive. Sure makes him a much happier dog through the week knowing he will always get those runs and not have to wait only for the weekend when Dad has the time. Thanks Melanie!

our dog izzi gets two walks a week with melanie and two other dogs. she gets picked up, taken to a beautiful wooded park where they run, and returned all within an hour and a half or so. melanie is wonderful energetic upbeat dependable professional -- our dog really looks forward to her run/walks with melanie. her tail starts wagging the moment she hears melanie's car in the driveway.

What types of customers have you worked with?
Leashed walks (to and through nearby parks) and on leash running for my more athletic and energetic hounds! I will customize your dogs outings to his/her fitness level and will pair him/her with appropriate walking/running mates. 3 dogs max per group.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always be sure to put your dog in the care of a professional. Make sure they have the education and ability to ensure the safety of your loved ones. A great place to start is being sure that the company you contract with has been licensed, insured, educated and is First Aid and CPR certified.
