About our services: * Dog Park Excursions If socialization and exercise are what your dog needs, our off-leash dog park excursions are the answer! Seattle Barks and Recreation strives to keep both you and your pet as happy and comfortable as possible while you're away from the home, providing you with peace of mind. We provide 1.5 to 2 hours of fetch, swimming and tail chasing and return home happy, tired, clean and towel dried. Dog parks excursions are ideal for dogs that act out when left alone for long periods of time, whether from boredom or separation anxiety. An hour-and-a-half-plus-long romp in a dog park with fellow canines provides just the right amount of exercise, companionship and mental stimulation to keep your dog healthy and happy. Excursions to a dog park also help teach your pet manners around other dogs and their owners by improving their socialization skills. Just like people, our dogs enjoy being around their friends, too! Allowing them time and space to socialize with other like-minded animals will go a long way toward improving your dog's health, happiness and behavior. All of our canine clients receive personal, one-on-one attention, with walks that cater to their individual needs, whether they prefer distance walks or an opportunity to sniff around and explore. We provide an environment of mental and physical simulation so they are exercised, happy and relaxed. For the social dogs, we offer small pal walks with no more than 3 dogs that are equally suited in size and temperament for that extra canine camaraderie. A walking session includes walking time, leaving the last five minutes for clean up, refilling water, treats and fulfilling any special needs that your dog requires. Yes, we will take care of your cat(s) and other pets needs too! * VIP In-our-Home Boarding Seattle Barks and Recreation's VIP In-Our-Home Boarding is within our loving and spacious home. Your dog will have the company and canine camaraderie of my dog, Magnus, and will be treated as a member of the family. They'll get to lounge in front of the TV, snuggle on the couch and bed, and join in family activities just like they do at home! Your dog really gets the kind of love, attention, and exercise they would get at home. We provide transportation to and from your home for boarding service, a 1/2-hour morning and evening walk, 1-hour long midday dog park adventure, daily feedings, and all other special needs. We'll also provide a daily report card with pictures showcasing your dog's adventure for the day. We keep in close contact about your dog's health and behavior, and we're always fine tuning his social skills for you with positive reinforcement pet training. * Pet Sitting Visits Some pets are sensitive to house changes and simply have a better experience staying home while enjoying visits from us. We know what to look for to ensure that your pet is happy and healthy and delighting in the comforts of home. Our pet sitting visits are 1/2 hour and/or 1 hour to your pet per visit. All sitting care includes feeding, walks or dog park excursions, mail and newspaper retrieval, plant watering, light rotation, and special needs at your request. We'll also provide a daily report card with pictures showcasing your pet's adventure for the day. We keep in close contact about your dog's health and behavior, and we're always fine tuning his social skills for you. * Cat Sitting Visit Felines are special creatures, and we are sensitive to your cat's unique personality and needs. Whether your cats enjoy being petted and laying in laps or if they prefer to be on their own, we will respect your cat's personal boundaries. For each visit, we provide litter box cleaning, feeding, care, play, plant watering, mail retrieval, light rotation, and special needs at your request.
