My business stands out because while it is my livelihood and my job, it remains my passion. What I create for my couples is just as important to me as a craft as it is to them as memories and keepsakes. I have an extensive background in photography and come from a creative arts background. I got my BFA from the University of Washington in 2016 and started my business the same summer! I love that every day is different; I get to meet new people and visit new places while leading a creative life!

Lenaig did an amazing job with our engagement photos! They came out better than I could have asked for. From first contact on Thumbtack, she was incredibly responsive, professional, and personable. Prior to the shoot, she was flexible and understanding when I needed an adjustment on the contract timeline. At the shoot she demonstrated her passion for her work over and over again. And her turnaround/delivery timelines are unreal! We're very grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her and are looking forward to (hopefully!) getting to work with her again for our wedding in August.

Leaning was incredible to work with front he very beginning. She was incredibly quick in her responses, was always willing to work with me on things & answer any questions I had, and as we got closer to the big day she was so encouraging and supportive! The pictures have turned out AMAZING, and she was a joy to have around on the wedding day!

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start by answering all the questions a potential couple might have! Wedding photography is an investment so I always want my couples to feel 100% comfortable before moving forward with signing contracts and putting down deposits. My primary concern is with getting to know my couples, getting familiar with their wedding plans and making sure they are at ease with my process!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA in Photomedia from the University of Washington (Honors).
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It fell into my lap! While I was studying to get my BFA, I was asked by a childhood friend to photograph her backyard wedding (which was actually right next door to the house I grew up in). I ended up having such a good time and really enjoying the process. From there, I booked more and more weddings and eventually decided to make a business of it!
