FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Premium Overhead, our pricing is based on a 'Flat-Rate' model for most repairs and installations. This means you know the cost upfront before we even start. We factor in the highest-quality parts (like high-cycle springs and nylon rollers), professional labor from licensed technicians, and a full safety inspection. We don’t believe in 'bait and switch'—we believe in honest, transparent quotes that reflect the premium service we provide.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
What to Expect: Our 6-Step Premium Process 🛠️ 1. Getting to Know You 📞 It all starts with a quick chat! Whether you call or message us online, we’ll talk through what’s going on with your door. We know your time is valuable, so we make it a point to get back to you quickly to get things moving. 2. Your Custom Quote 📏 We come to you to see the situation firsthand. We’ll take exact measurements, check your hardware, and give you a detailed, honest estimate right then and there. No "hidden fees" or surprise charges—just clear pricing for a job done right. 3. Securing Your Spot ✅ Ready to go? We’ll get you on our schedule. For new door installs or larger projects, we’ll send over an invoice for a 50% deposit. This locks in your date and allows us to order your high-quality, custom materials. 4. The Heavy Lifting 🛠️ Our team arrives on time and ready to work. We do more than just a "quick fix"—we perform a full safety inspection and use specialized, long-lasting WD-40 Gel Lube built for the Washington weather. We’ll even haul away your old door for you! 5. The Grand Tour 🎓 Before we head out, we’ll walk you through the work we’ve done. We’ll show you how your new system works and give you a few "pro-tips" on how to keep it running smoothly for years to come. We don’t leave until you’re 100% happy. 6. Following Up ✉️ Once the job is complete, we’ll handle the final payment. We like to check in a few days later just to make sure everything is still operating perfectly. Our relationship doesn't end when the door closes!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The "education"in this specific field is a mix of technical mastery, safety certifications, and business management. The most important part of my training is staying current with safety standards. Working with high-tension springs and heavy doors is serious business, so I stay sharp on: OSHA Safety Standards: Keeping the job site safe for both my team and your family. Manufacturer Certifications: I keep up with the latest tech from brands like LiftMaster and Genie so I can program smart openers and handle complex installs perfectly. Field Experience: There’s no substitute for having seen thousands of doors. This is where I learned the "tricks of the trade," like how to perfectly balance a door so it feels light as a feather.
