At Melcham Homes, we take pride in providing quality and friendly service to our clients. We are a full-service general contractor specializing in all types of home remodeling projects. We renovate your entire home, focus on the exterior or interior, remodel one or two specific rooms, build new additions, or kitchen and bath remodel. We have earned the respect of customers. Our guiding principles have always been to build a relationship of trust with every client, provide guidance but never try to “high pressure” a customer, and to give every job we undertake (both small and large) the full benefit of our experience, of superior materials and equipment, and of a well disciplined work ethic. Our home remodeling work is highly diverse--here are some of the most common types of remodeling jobs we perform: -Full remodeling of kitchens, often accompanied by a bathroom remodel or addition. -Interior remodeling of bedrooms, living rooms, attics, basements, and all other rooms of the house. -Installation of new flooring, including hardwood, laminate, tile, tile wood, and carpeting. -Installation of newer, more energy efficient windows and doors. -Exterior remodeling, including siding/painting, roofing replacement/repairs, decking, patio covers, enclosures, sunrooms, screen rooms, and more. -Installation of energy efficient LED lighting, solar panels, and other energy efficient and water-use conservation products. -New additions, both built out and built up, garage conversions, and room expansions.

I had an amazing experience with Melcham Homes this morning. I needed some closet doors put back up in a doorframe after painting and adding mirrors to the doors. They helped me get the doors set up with new hinges and added a third middle hinge on each door. The whole time they were in my home, they were super kind and respectful (even though my dog decided to be very high energy during their visit). They cleaned up nicely as well, you can hardly tell the project was completed today! The doors look absolutely perfect and they look like they had three hinges from the very beginning. The spacing was great and they put so much care into making sure everything fit together properly. There was a little bit of paint chipping, but I’d say that’s to be expected with this type of job—it’s nothing I can’t touch up myself. Overall a truly wonderful experience and I’d absolutely hire them again for future projects!

We used Melcham homes because of the reviews on Thumbtack of how helpful Melanie was but even though we expressed that we were looking for someone to help us through the process we, only by following up and asking, received any assistance. We were told to go make an appointment at Floor & Decor with a design specialist but we’re not sure if she was newer to the position but it was not a positive experience. We ended up going back and luckily a gentleman asked us if we needed help and he was able to provide us with the information we needed to buy the right tiles. The crew was very nice. There was only one coat of paint so we ended up with an extra gallon and we did have to do some touch up. The updated bathroom looks very good and the project was completed in a short period of time. More communication throughout the process would have been very helpful to us.

I hired Melcham to remodel my 1950s pastel pink bathroom and they did an amazing job. It turned out exactly how I wanted to look. Cham and his team were punctual, respectful of my home and so quick! If it weren’t for tile delivery delays (at no fault to them), the bathroom could have probably been complete in less than 2 weeks. I would def use them for another remodel.
