Seattle’s Only General Contractor Offering: - Art Institute Trained Interior Designer - Cutting Edge AI Project Rendering - State Certified Journeyman Carpenter - UW Graduate GO HUSKIES!!! - LICENSED: L&I #QUEENAC760QH - BONDED: $30,000.00 - INSURED: $2,000,000.00 WHY IT MATTERS: In Seattle, any project over $2,000 or involving building, remodeling, repairing, or demolition requires a licensed general contractor. That license proves experience, accountability, and compliance with Washington State Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) bonding and insurance laws—protecting you from liability and ensuring your project meets code. Specialty trades like electrical or plumbing require their own licenses and exams, but a general contractor like us coordinates all of it—so you never have to worry about permits, inspections, or compliance. Typical projects that don’t require a permit: • One-story detached structures under 120 sq. ft. with slab foundation • Fences under 8 ft. high (masonry portions under 6 ft.) • Decks under 18 in. above grade • Ground-level patios or slabs • Retaining walls under 4 ft. • Painting, wallpapering, and similar finish work • Minor non-structural repairs under $6,000 ⸻ WHO WE ARE Queen Anne Construction is a family-owned Seattle remodeling company led by a husband-and-wife team—a University of Washington graduate, journeyman carpenter, and interior designer working side by side. We bring craftsmanship, design expertise, and real communication to every project—from small repairs to full-scale remodels. We show up, follow through, and treat your home like our own. Our focus: Quality work. Honest communication. No stress. When you hire us, you’re not just a client—you’re a neighbor we’re proud to serve.

Matt did a great job and provided high quality work for a great value. He completely demolished our front porch which was unstable and breaking and created a new one from scratch. He also added much needed support to our back deck to stop it from swaying. Would recommend his work.

Details: I'm just starting • Repair existing structure • Yes, load-bearing structures are involved • Less than 500 sq ft • Home

Thank you for your help on my remodel. The kitchen is awesome and my wife loves it. Great choice of tile for the backsplash and the color for the cabinets pops the contrasting wall paint. Definitely going to recommend you guys. Under budget and on time!!

Last year I needed to list my house for sale but the front porch, walkway and back deck were 25 years old and rotten. I had an estimate from another contractor for around $80,000 with a timeline of three months. A friend of mine referred me to Queen Anne Construction who was able to deliver the same project for just under $40,000. After inspecting the structure, they said they could save a substantial amount of the original framing to keep costs down without compromising the quality or structural integrity. Even more importantly, they completed the job in about one month, cutting the projected schedule by two-thirds. This allowed me to get my house listed quickly and sold almost immediately. I would definitely recommend Queen Anne Construction and appreciate their attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond to get the job done ahead of schedule.

It is not often you feel like you got great value for the money. Matt with Queen Anne and his team were there on time (early most days actually) charged us a fair price and their quality of work is/was terrific. My wife and I are so glad we chose them and thanks again for all you did to help us!

When I contacted the first company to tear out a wall in our home and expand our bedroom they said they had to re-schedule the first appointment. I cancelled and called queen anne construction. So glad I did!!
