Introduction: When I bought my historic 100 year old home here in Seattle, it needed a lot of work, but I discovered many jobs were often too small to attract the attention of professional contractors, so I started doing the work myself. Over the last ten years I’ve accumulated a great deal of experience (and fun tools) that have helped make my home more beautiful and functional and safe for my family.
