FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We may not always be the cheapest painting company—and that’s intentional. Our goal is to give you the best value by doing the job right the first time. At Gongora Painting, we believe a great paint job is about much more than putting color on a wall. Proper preparation, quality materials, attention to detail, and applying coatings under the right conditions are what determine whether your investment lasts a few years or many years. We don’t believe in cutting corners to offer the lowest bid. We follow professional application standards and manufacturer recommendations so your paint or stain performs as intended and its warranty remains protected. Our goal is simple: the next time you paint your home, it should be because you’re ready for a new color—not because the previous paint job failed. We respect your home, your time, and your investment, and we price our work to deliver a finished product we’re proud to stand behind.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We believe a great painting project should be simple, clear, and stress-free from the start. 1. Tell us about your project. Send us a brief description of what you’d like painted. We may ask for a few photos beforehand so we can better understand the project and come prepared. 2. We meet & listen. We’ll visit the property, discuss your vision, expectations, budget, and timeline, then take the necessary measurements and photos. 3. You receive a clear quote. Within 1–2 business days, we’ll send you a detailed written proposal outlining the scope of work, pricing, materials, and proposed schedule—no vague numbers or surprises. 4. We get to work. Once everything looks good, we finalize the details, schedule your project, and take it from there. From preparation to the final walkthrough, we keep communication straightforward and treat your home with care. Our goal is simple: make the process easy and deliver a paint job you’ll be proud of for years.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been in the painting trade since I was 18, and over the years it has become much more than a profession. It taught me craftsmanship, attention to detail, problem-solving, and the importance of doing things right—even when no one is watching. Along the way, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Restaurant Management and Gastronomy and became an entrepreneur, experiences that have shaped how I run Gongora Painting today. I understand that great workmanship is only part of a great service—you also need clear communication, organization, reliability, and respect for your customer’s time and property. Outside of painting, I’m passionate about working with my hands and understanding how things are made. I roast coffee, make wine, work with cacao, and cook. Different crafts, but they all share something I value: good results come from patience, experience, and attention to the details. That same philosophy is what I bring to every painting project.
