Michelle did my makeup as well as 6 other bridesmaids. She did an incredible job like others have said. I can't even tell you how many compliments we all got!! Words cannot express how grateful we were to have Michelle be a part of our special day. She also came perfectly prepared, with a ton of makeup options, and to customize a look for each girl in my bridal party. Lastly, she was just great to work with! Throughout the process, I felt like she was more of a friend than a vendor. We had a few issues the day of the wedding and she was just SOO sweet and supportive. She even stayed a little longer until everything was sorted out. I could have not made it through the day without her! Any bride will be lucky to work with Michelle. I would HIGHLY recommend her and will absolutely work with her again.

I've been hesitant to leave a review, but I really dont want this to happen to anyone else. Michelle was very professional via text messages. Even asking me to send her photos of what I had in mind. She confirmed with me the week prior to make sure I had not changed my mind. However the day of she shows up without any makeup. (professionally speaking a makeup artist should at least have on some eyeliner.) Early on in the conversation she tells me she got back in from Canada at 1 a.m. Mind you we scheduled in advance her to be at my house at 6 a.m. As I told her I had to be out the door at 8 a.m at the latest to reach my destination. My bridal party assumed she was hung over because of her odd behavior. A few minutes in I am quick to figure out she has not come the least prepared. Actually resorting to borrowing makeup from my bridesmaid and tools from my mother. Gazing down at the color palette she was using I made my concerns known as to the colors she was using ...not even being remotely close to the color I requested to go with the theme I specified my wedding was. To which she replied oh it has a little. Later to find out no, no it did not. She simply decided to do whatever she wanted. She struggled with false eyelashes for what seemed to be half an hour...which were bothersome the whole day as they were not placed correctly. She moved awfully slow even as I was reminding her we were pressed for time. Finally almost two hours later for just my makeup I take a look in the mirror and almost cry at the horror that was my face. Without time to even pull last minute details or time to fix it myself I pulled myself together and reminded myself the manners my mother taught me. Furious on the drive over. My family manages to calm me down. The same night our photographer sends us some previews of the photos. I immediately start to yell and cry all at the same time. The makeup was horrid. I looked like I had the worst tan ever and my makeup did not match my face or setting at all. So here I am upset that I pretty much paid my makeup artist to do whatever she wanted with my face and use my bridesmaid makeup. You can imagine the frustration. I return from my honeymoon to find a text message from Michelle. Apologetically asking for a pic of the makeup as she forgot to take one of the end result along with grabbing the bridal makeup contract. I express to her my true feelings on the matter of what happened. I never hear anything back. Not even apology. Meanwhile yesterday my mother lets me know she needs the tools back that I borrowed to which I replied that I do not have the. The bridesmaid that lent the makeup returns from her own vacation. I tell her my frustration and that my moms tools are missing and she notifies me that the same thing almost happened with her makeup pallet and several expensive brushes. To which I ask if they were merely on the counter with the rest or resting atop Michelle makeup bag. To my surprise they were locked away in Michelle's makeup bag with other items covering it. So now yes I am compelled to leave a review. Michelle I have no issues with you as a person. You seem like a lovely young lady. But I do not believe you have the maturity to be the professional most brides are expecting for their big day. No our wedding is not cheap. Yes the photos are very expensive. Nobody ever plans to marry more than once so yes that day is very important and those photos last forever. The fault was my own for going with a cheaper makeup artist. Michelle please truly think if this is what you wish to pursue as a career and if you are willing to be responsible and put pride in someone else's important day. You would not wish that upon yourself or a loved one so do your best to give that to your client. You're not working for free

Michelle is a pro. I've had many makeup artists work on me in the past, and she is one of the best. She has great technique, uses superior brands, and acts super professional. Because she is so good at what she does, she charges accordingly. Don't be discouraged by her rates. You definitely get what you pay for. And believe me, for something as important as a wedding, you do not want to skimp on makeup. You will not regret hiring Michelle. I can guarantee you will look gorgeous! Thanks Michelle!! Look at their actual work (portfolio). It should speak for itself. Also, it's always good to hire someone that specializes in what you're looking for. Experience and great customer service.
