Introduction: I am a muralist, graffiti artist, and designer. I am proficient in all styles, but specialize in "Photo-realism". I am capable of painting prearranged commercially designed work such as logos, ads, etc., as well as being able to create original super-creative designs of my own. Below I have listed some recent work experiences. Work/Commercial Experiences: * Microsoft live painting for Inter party, Seattle 2012 I painted live on a 8' x 8' wall for Microsoft depicting a photo-realistic portrait of Bill Gates. * Monster Dogs delivery trucks, Seattle 2012 I painted 2 16' delivery box trucks with a graffiti-based design and custom-designed cartoon characters. * Evo Media Group office mural, Seattle 2011 I painted a large 8 ft. x 6 ft. portrait called "Blue Girl". This project was to be a creative addition to a small office space. * Art Basil Mural, Miami Florida 2011 I was asked to paint a portrait image that was incorporated into a large-scale mural on NW 24th Ave. in Downtown Miami. This mural was one of many being painted during the famed Art Basil event. * HTC and T-Mobile ad murals, Seattle 2011 I painted a series of 3 murals for an HTC and T-Mobile ad campaign that utilized the "Google Goggles" mobile application. I was asked to paint whatever I wanted as long as it included the company's color of green from their branding. After drawing a series of composite sketches, HTC chose three of them. The murals lasted for 3 months. * Mod Pizza Mural, Seattle 2011 I was asked to design a mural that represented the era of 1960 Europe, while maintaining a relevant feel through the use of aerosol paint for the Capitol Hill, Seattle location. * Emerge Mural Pioneer Square, Seattle 2010 I received 2 grants from the Alliance of Pioneer Square, as well as donations from Kickstarter to fund a large mural. The mural is located on 2nd Ave. and Yesler Way and is approximately 17 feet tall x 120 feet long. This project took about 4 weeks and was painted in aerosol. * Lustre Communications and Ford Motors, Seattle 2010 Lustre Communications and Ford hired me to illustrate background concepts and final pieces for a regional Ford TV commercial. * Adult Swim mural ads, Seattle 2010 I painted 2 advertisements for Adult Swim, showing a realistic representation of their new character, "Dr. Steve Brule", which was played by John C. Riley. The larger of the two ads was 20 feet tall x 25 feet wide. These ads were painted at University Ave. and at 45th in Wallingford, Seattle. The ads lasted approximately 3 months. * Spring Creek Group, Seattle 2010 I created a wood canvas installation for Spring Creek Group's main office. I worked with a touch of direction from Spring Creek. The concept was to incorporate all 10-spirit animals that represent their business, plus it has a graffiti, while keeping an outdoor feeling with the raw wood background. * Pioneer Square History Mural, Seattle 2009 I worked closely with the Seattle preservation board and the Pioneer Square Community Association to create a mural that would uplift a disenfranchised community and show a pictorial history and feeling of the local area. This mural is located next to Occidental Brick Park. * Miller/Coors Inc., Rezin Marketing, Seattle 2009 I worked with the head of Rezin Sports Marketing to develop a live mural painting experience for Miller/Coors, Inc. that tied snowboarding and graffiti together for a half-day event on the Seattle waterfront. It was my responsibility to design art for the snowboarding area, including jumps and rails, as well as paint a live mural that included photo-realism of a Coors Light can and graffiti-based lettering. On this project, there was no discovery time, and all art was done freestyle at the event. The final mural was 8'x16'. * T-Mobile Product development creative space, Seattle 2009 I worked closely with head managers of T-Mobil's product development center to create a unique urban graffiti-based design that reflected their call to the 2009 marketing campaign, "Uniting the modern tribe." The project discovery lasted roughly 3 weeks, which resulted in a final art piece that was 5' x 30' in size. * Cherry St. Coffee, Seattle 2008 I was commissioned to paint two photos of the surrounding historical neighborhood in mural form for the interior of the coffee house. There was no discovery time; this project resulted in two very detailed murals of Pioneer Square Seattle. * Microsoft Corporate Campus, Redmond 2007 I worked with managers in the new hiring department in building 19 on Microsoft campus. We formulated a design that would reflect the coming together of ideas and the worldwide influence of those ideas. We also wanted to include technology, humanity, and raw nature as a visual element. Discovery time and design lasted roughly three weeks and resulted in a 8x24 mural that was framed and installed into the second floor of building 19 on Microsoft campus. Honors: * 2011 Garboil Grant recipient (in tandem with Jen Vertz)
