FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are now almost exclusively an "open air, green screen photo booth" specialist. In short, it is a traveling photo studio. We have the best cameras, lenses and lighting in the business. We are dedicated to quality, images that make memories and keepsakes. We are located in Olympia, Washington and ready to travel. The closer you are to our headquarters, the bigger the discount. The most expensive thing we do is travel. High quality prints are the second largest cost, but when we see the appreciation on our clients faces we tend to ignore that expense! We don't charge for set-up or tear down time. We arrive an hour early and typically leave an hour after the last photos are taken. No charge for these two hours. Finally and this is huge, everyone at your event receives full digital rights to every photo created at the party. They are yours. There are no extra charges. Download them, share them on Instagram, Facebook or whatever your chosen social media outlet is.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing that I do is find out some basic information about the event and then create a website just for them. On that website will be all of the details of the event including examples of backdrops and economics. My clients can visit that page, pay for services and communicate with me using the contact form designed just for them! Unfortunately, the green screen is kind of a foreign concept to a lot of people. Throw in what seems to be a mistrust of photographers in general and we have to explain and help our clients understand what service we offer. It can be complicated, but I love hearing someone say "this is a really good service in the heat of producing, editing and making prints at an event!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I look for all kinds of online classes and regularly view Kelby TV which is a television network for photographers. When the opportunity comes up, I may participate in physical classes with more experienced or specialized photographers.
