I've taken my professional head shots with Michael and I've watched him take the head shots of many others. I have also seen him photograph events, blending in to photograph the crowds with ease. We've been friends for a long time and share professional circles so I've seen his work a lot over a long period of time. He is always on time. He delivers quality work on time. He is engaging and professional all the time and easily adapts to all kinds of situations. Michael's super chill and confident vibe has a way of relaxing away the nerves. He makes the subject on the other side of his lens beautiful and intriguing, no matter who or what it is. His calming nature and excellent timing give him the talent to capture images where the person's spirit is shining through and they get to go home with a photograph or many that expresses who they really are at their core.

Michael photographed me twice for professional headshots, once at WeWork and once at his studio. I loved working with him because in addition to having a sharp aesthetic eye and lots of very, very cool equipment, he also went out of his way to make the photos meaningful. He took the time to ask thought-provoking questions that helped him get to know me (and vice-versa). The headshots came out looking genuine and projected my real personality. How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to get into this work because it's a natural extension to the business and creative services I do. Also, by going back and forth, I'm able to allow the work from one area to inform the work in the other, enabling me to do both better.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I do a lot of head shots, custom stock photography, creative problem solving, portraits, and product (still life) photography.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you have the opportunity, meet your photographer in person and make sure your personalities mesh well.
