Introduction: My style of photography goes beyond traditional "posed shots" or traditional portraits of people lined up. I will shoot traditional shots, but I also strive to capture the candid natural moments between people, whether it is at a wedding or during a family portrait session. If I am doing a shoot with children, apart from traditional posed shots I take a creative approach to get them to relax and look natural in the shots. I coach my clients on how to relax for shots so that there are no akward facial expressions in the photos. I coach them to how to position their bodies and hand to achieve the most flattering shot and angles possible. I like to shoot outdoors as much as possible to utilize natural light. Light is key for getting fantastic photos, I use filters, reflectors and diffuser and other sorts of light sources to get the best results. I love working with people and I love to see my clients happy with their results, whether its a mother moved to tears over the results of a family photo shoot, a satisfied pet owner reviewing their pet portraits or a thrilled bride.
