I really enjoyed my first piano lesson with Jan at Sound Music Studio. I’m an adult early advanced student. In 45 minutes, Jan reviewed the music I was already learning with many new insights; introduced a new Bach book and book of scales; gave me a book on theory for my next lesson; and explained some music theory that was relevant to my music. Very knowledgeable and a nice person, too!

Jan is amazing! A real-life fairy god mother. If you choose to take piano lessons with her you won't be disappointed! She is patient, kind, funny, warm, and keeps your learning experience comfortable.

I've been having piano lessons with Jan for about an year and my daughter started a month ago. My 6 years old daughter did not want to take piano lessons, but after she agreed to try and did the first two lessons, she wanted to continue and I give Jan all the credit for that. Jan is a great teacher - very patient, very attentive, has a wide knowledge of music theory and piano teaching methods and always finds a creative way to help me overcome a hurdle that I've encountered. She's also a nice person to be around and makes piano lessons so much fun, something to be excited about.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
WEEKLY LESSONS- $34 for one 30 minute lesson weekly lessons- $122/Month $68 for one 60 minute lesson, weekly lessons- $244/Month There is a one time Registration Fee of $125 which covers all your music as long as you take lessons. Students with Special Needs are welcome! Senior Citizens are welcome. Adults are welcome. Children age 6-21 are welcome. You must give one month notice when leaving, or traveling out of town for 2 weeks or more. All fees are paid in advance by the 30th of each month, for the next month. We do not give refunds. We do make up lessons once a month.

I studied piano from 5 years old. I studied at the Hoch Piano Conservatory I studied Music Education at Indiana University I studied Early Childhood Education at UW Seattle
