I think I am pretty "real world" when it comes to counseling. I've worked in the corporate world, am married, and am a father. I try to keep things as grounded in practicality as possible. When I see someone break through where they have been stuck - either getting out of something bad (depression, anxiety) or getting something they've wanted for a long time (a new job, a relationship).

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I do continuing education each year (for my licensure), get my own counseling (to continue to learn from that side of the couch), and learn in my marriage and as a parent all the time.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Look for "fit" - someone who feels right to you. Therapy with a therapist who doesn't connect to you is frustrating, and doesn't work very well.
