I was looking to buy a new construction house in Seattle and hired Riley to help me with this search. What I loved about working with him is that he would give me advice on the areas that I should be looking at and the areas that I should be avoiding. He would send me listing from various places, not just MLS or Zillow, and even properties that were not openly advertised on the market. Each house I saw - he was present with me. But not only that, he would know if a house was over/underpriced and would give me advice on the overall value of it based on the listing price, area, how much home improvement would need to be done etc. At the end, we found a 3 bed 2.5 bath house in Wallingford and he negotiated the best price for it. I was extremely happy with his 1. Professionalism 2. Understanding of the market and the prices 3. Very approachable and pleasant personality 4. Outstanding work ethics, and best of all 5. Getting me the best price for my dream house.I would highly recommend Riley and would definitely consider him as my agent in all future real estate dealings.

My wife and I purchased our first home last year through Riley. Working with him was the best decision we made!We interviewed a number of agents before deciding on working with him, and he was very supportive in our decision to deliberate before deciding. Once we decided to work with Riley, he was extremely engaged, regularly providing great advice and recommendations. Riley was incredibly understanding, patient, and thoughtful throughout the process of finding a home. He took time to get to know my wife and I, and quickly understood our needs better than we ourselves could articulate. He would regularly steer us away from places that he knew might cause us problems down the road. He encouraged us to enjoy the process, and firmly believed that we would know right away when we found the right place.When we found the right place, he did an incredible job in landing the home purchase for us. His history of great work gave us increased credibility with the seller, and he worked throughout an evening and weekend to get our offer in quickly. But despite the hurried nature of the sale, Riley was patient, relaxed, and supportive. It is no exaggeration to say that we would not have been able to get the home we did without him.

Riley was able to do what another agent and myself couldn't - get a reluctant builder to sell to me. My wife and I had our eyes on a new construction townhouse in Queen Anne that was still a few months away from completion. I had a Redfin agent at the time, but neither he nor I could convince the builder to sell. The builder wanted to wait because prices are going up rapidly. I don't know what magic Riley worked, but after I gave Riley a shot, he was able to get the builder to sell to me at the price point I wanted. I've found that lots of agents are nice, responsive, and knowledgeable. Riley is all of these things AND has the rare ability to get really hard things done. That's what you're really looking for in an agent.
