FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is generally case by case, the exception is with very standard gutter cleanings. For most roof cleanings, I ask that the client please provide me with the address of their property. Additionally, upon having a first-hand look, I will often notice things the client may not have considered, such as a driveway, walk, or deck that needs attention. A steeper roof requiring being in harness, adds time to the process and is priced only slightly higher than the standard cost. The pricing for roof cleanings takes into account roof pitch, square footage, and volume of debris, all affecting the length of time for the project to be completed. For gutter cleanings we approach from the rooftop, using water pressure to flush all debris and grime from the gutters, and finish by washing grime, algae and debris from the gutter faces.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Previous and repeat customers enjoy the benefit of knowing our process for cleanings and strict attention to detail, often referring friends, neighbors, and professional property management contacts to us. With new customers I focus on explaining options, technique, and offering suggestions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have spent 30+ years in the services industry, being accommodating, respectful, and engaging. My job, as I have always seen it, is to make a customer's day, feeling they got more than their moneys worth. A handshake from my customer upon completion of a project is the highest form of compliment.
