I took 3 quarters of ASL classes with Jodi. The first class was at my local community college and then I went on to take private lessons when my schedule wouldn't accommodate the college class times. My favorite thing about Jodi is how patient she is. She'd explain the same concept several times and in different ways to help me comprehend it and give me tools to remember the concept. She also doesn't just tell you to memorize, she helps explain the 'why' which helped with retention of the skills I learned. I also loved that Jodi taught me about the deaf culture. I didn't expect to learn that during my ASL classes but it added a lot of value to the experience. I now consider Jodi not only my past teacher but a friend.

I am currently on hiatus from the classroom. I taught Spanish at high school and junior high level for 15 years before moving to Switzerland. I took up French before moving to Switzerland and continued for two years while living in Geneva. I had a son upon returning to the Seattle area, and I am currently a stay-at-home mom looking to reenter the work force.

I teach English and Spanish in a very innovative and fun way with non-traditional methods. I am experienced in working with businesses interested in developing their workforce.

I am from Colombia, and I like to help people learn about my language and my culture. I am going to teach you about basic grammar to the most common slang in Spanish.

One of my students teachers told by her writing she could not tell she was deaf. but she brought an interpreter. The average deaf student graduates from high school with a 4th grade writing level. This student arrived with a 4th grade reading and writing level and in one year she writing was as good as a hearing student. i was tutoring a fourth grader in math that was the lowest kid in the class. After 9 months he went to the minority math competition and his team with his help took 1st place. he was the top kid in the class in math

I am Aeri Kim, s soprano voice teacher who has fair amount of voice teaching experience in classical opera singing and the musical theater singing. I can teach from the very beginner to the advanced singer who wants to go to the college in voice performance or musical theater.

I speak fluent Cantonese and Mandarin. Having English as my second language, I have good grammatical skills and am able to communicate efficiently with it. I can provide my service for anyone from all ages who wants to learn Chinese, English grammar or elementary math. I am a dance major in college, and I would love to teach ballet/creative dancing for kids. I am also a reliable person for house, dog and babysitting. I get along with children very well.

I am a college student and I speak three languages, including Russian and Spanish. I am able to tutor kids from elementary to high school level on these languages, as well as share unique cultural experiences. I am also able to give piano lessons for those in beginner to intermediate level.

I am hard of hearing, and I can speak well. I can teach ASL, one-on-one or small group. Do you need help with ASL? If you want to become an interpreter for college students, or if you have a deaf child that you want to mentor to learn the language to help your child's development, I have expert knowledge of ASL. I can help with deaf culture, create awareness, learn finger-spell words and how to communicate, and many more.
