Ann is an Atelier extrodinaire. She molds fabric to create a custom garment.
In 48 hours:
she fixed my husband's leather motorcycle riding pants blown-out knee seam, and he could not tell which was the original and which was fixed.
She also added new long front pant pockets that he had shredded through long use. This required working around the crotch, with leather and nylon/polyester lining fabrics. The pockets will outlast his riding days, I'm sure!
For me she took in 2 vintage bathing suit bottoms, a dress I bought on a whim that was 3 sizes too large: she took it in on the sides, removed a useless zipper, pulled it in appropriately so it was discreet at the bust instead of being open to my ribcage, fixed and added invisible seams to the uneven, hacked lining and the outer chiffon dress layers that I had cut up because the dress was originally a bubble dress. She took in a pair of microfiber poly-lycra Spanx shorts so they sit at my waist and make me look thin instead of dumpy-I can't figure out how-I think under the existing belt loops, which she would have had to remove and reapply.
She completed all of the above in less than 48 hours and at a reasonable price. Her work is impeccable.
She is enlarging a 2-piece 1960's Hawaiian Hostess outfit of my mother's, and remaking another vintage Hawaiian dress I inherited from a 5'9" woman to fit 5'1" me.

I have had several pieces fixed, sewn, hemmed and re-hemmed by Anna. She does outstanding work! And she's a joy to work with! There is no job she is incapable of handling and if I hadn't seen the old work, I would think my clothes were new! Highly recommend. Her sewing brings this petite gal joy.
