Chi Counseling Services

Introduction: I provide counseling services for children, adolescents, adults, families, couples and groups. I specialize in offering therapy to assist individuals in recovering from crisis and trauma. In order to offer therapy to heal and resolve trauma, and also disturbances from mental and emotional wounds, I became certified in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing or EMDR. I also acquired training in attachment and object relations theory. My services also include treatment covering a wide variety of mental health concerns and issues, to include partner-relational and parent-child relationships. I use an integrative style of psychotherapy in order to address your needs and goals. This may include cognitive-behavioral, humanistic or systems therapy. I employ a strength-based process to assist the client in focusing on his or her areas of concern. The therapeutic relationship may include work assignments to be accomplished outside of session, problem-solving rehearsals and coaching clients in developing additional skills. If required, I can provide Energy Psychology treatment, so that your energy system is coordinated with your thoughts.
