- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do have a standard pricing system for the jobs we do. The most important thing to remember is that all jobs are different even if the specs on the home or business are the exact same. Every job is customized to that particular client,some want only the main floor done, or just the bathrooms, and some people just want certain things done at certain times. When we bid a home or business for a cleaning there are many factors that go into figuring the price. how many bedrooms, how many bathrooms, how many floors, stairs, etc. all jobs can be broken down into an hourly rate, for us if you just want the basic services and no extra services, for example, inside the oven, interior windows or wall washing etc. it breaks down to $25/per person per hour plus tax. The special services are added to the cost of the clean in the final bid. Our crews work in teams of two with one member being the leader. The leader collects payment and discusses any good or bad issues with the client at the time of the clean. cash or check is accepted as form of payment, we are going to accept debit or credit cards in the near future. Tips are greatly appreciated and welcomed. If we set up a clean and the client cancels within 24 hours of the scheduled clean date there is a $50 dollar fee added to the cost of the clean.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When A R Cleaning, Inc. is meeting with a new client we first and foremost treat them with respect and listen to their needs. All new customers on the first meeting get a welcome packet. This consists of copies of our business license, registration through the secretary of the state, general contractors license, menu of services, bid sheet, references and a business card. Also upon meeting for the first time we show proof of our bond and insurance to give all customers piece of mind. We always show up in uniform and dressed nicely to go through the initial walk through so we can figure out a fair price for both us and the customer. When the customer decides yes on the bid they sign the acceptance page and we begin our work on the designated date and time.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A recent project that I was really fond of was our new client Dawn's job. To be honest I need to give a little background on Dawn. She is very well traveled and intelligent,she has lived all over the world and in numerous states here in the U.S. With the many different cleaners she has encountered, I was a bit nervous what she was going to think about my work. Much to my surprise she wrote an amazing review here on Thumbtack and gave us 5 out of 5 stars! We are so fond of the job because of the great friend we made and the amazing bits of advise we have received. Knowing we are doing such a great job in Dawn's eyes really gives us the motivation to continue doing great,detailed work,with a smile. Thank you so much Dawn!
