FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started teaching CPR as an EMS student when I was hired by my school to become the CPR co-ordinator. I fell in love right then and there with teaching CPR and First Aid. I loved that it was a small way to make a great impact. Learning CPR is not just important for work requirements; it really does save lives! I started Spokane CPR Training a little over 2 years later in order to make the certification process better for everyone involved. Now, the only thing you have to worry about is showing up, we provide everything else and we even come right to your office.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Because of my own medical background, Spokane CPR Training's niche has been providing training to practices/offices in the Healthcare field. Healthcare is always growing and teaching students entering the field is also a favorite. And, as a mother, I also am very happy to have partnered with some non-Healthcare related businesses such as daycare centers. We have built relationships with businesses as small as 5 employees to as large as 300+. Some businesses have a monthly class due to the size of their employee base, and some other larger offices that like to have all of their employees certified at the same time will break into a few classes in a week's time. The only thing we strive towards is to make it convenient to your busy schedule while making sure that you are comfortable with the knowledge and performing the skills!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you are looking for a CPR class, make sure you know what kind of class is required of you. Then see if some friends or coworkers need to be certified also. It will not only make the experience more enjoyable, but you'll be more likely to engage and remember the material.
