FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each couple I work with is unique and so is their wedding. Celebrations are custom tailored to meet your needs and your vision at an all inclusive rate that books by the day, not by the hour. Rates are based on the month, day of the week, guest count, location and other special needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes! I have earned an A.A.S. degree in Audio Technology which has given me an extensive understanding of how to operate sound systems and sound equipment to provide you with the most pristine, best possible sound. I also pursue continuous education every year in the wedding entertainment industry by attending wedding DJ workshops and seminars, public speaking workshops, reading books specific to wedding celebrations, attending annual DJ trade shows and following current wedding trends online. I subscribe to DJ industry's Mobile Beat and am also active in online DJ chat groups to keep current on new technology and other ideas that can help me be the very best for my clients!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of the events I work are weddings with an outdoor ceremony on the same property as the outdoor and/or indoor reception. A sound system is set-up at the ceremony site to play your chosen music and wireless microphone so all your guests will hear your wedding vows. A second (larger) sound system is set-up at the reception site for dinner music, toasts, announcements and dancing. Uplighting is often included to add a colorful ambience to the reception area. The uplighting begins to change and move to the music during open dancing. A custom lighted monogram is designed to reflect each couples style. As the Master of Ceremonies I direct, inform and guide your guests through each special ceremony of your celebration. Coordinating the flow of events and making sure your guests feel included is just one of the ways I will make sure you and your fiancé have nothing to worry about at your wedding celebration.
