Amy Rowe was hired to do my daughter's 8th birthday party, an 80's dance party. She did an amazing job playing all the songs my daughter requested and also sounds she loved, but never actually discussed, because Amy is AWESOME! She kept the kids engaged and adults entertained as well. I highly recommend her and can't wait for the next event I will need her for!!!

Amy brought her Groove Approved DJ Entertainment setup to the 25th anniversary sale for our business. She came early, set up quickly and immediately got to work. She asked for information about our company, our sale, our specials and our staff then proceeded to make announcements throughout her four hour stay. She played a wide variety of great music and smoothly transitioned from classic 70's to vintage 80's, through the 90's and up to last month's best releases. I am sure that if you have a theme or special request she will find it for you.THANK YOU Amy!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is pretty simple..I don't like to complicate things. .just give me a call and I will give you a quote. .there are always exceptions but they don't usually affect the price of the event in a big way. I think you will find that my prices are very reasonable for the services that I render.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
No my continuing education is common sense...Keep up with the latest music trends and the new cuts that are released and popular. I try to school myself with interaction with the client and guests of the event I might be hosting.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always wanted to make people smile and laugh ever since I was young .. I have been in the music industry for over 30 years. .I worked at local radio stations KJRB,KKZX and ROCK 106 as an on-air personality as well as doing promotions, live remotes, and programming music ..I couldn't think of doing anything else for a living.
