I scheduled recurring visits with Mahar Landscape and after the second visit I was decidedly glad I did. The work is prompt, done well, and there are a lot of small touches that made a big difference. My walk way bricks are clear of weeds, my yard looks great, and the cost is very affordable.

I had patio pavers installed with removal of old deck first. Sam and his crew did an outstanding job. Sam has great design ideas if your not quite sure of what you want. They show up on time and work diligently and stay on schedule until the job is complete. I would highly recommend Sam and his crew. LaDonna

Daniel did a comprehensive inspection of my fireplace and chimney, including a thorough report, and offered a fair estimate for the cost of repairs. He replaced the crown, flashing and flue - all of which were either damaged or improperly installed before I bought the house. He also acid washed the brick, did preventive maintenance on a planter box at the base of the chimney, and gave me good advice for future care. The quality of his work was excellent.

Mr. Perez does very good work. I hired him to cut my lawn and also to put a paver walk way on the side of my house. I am very happy with the results. He and his crew worked efficiently and cleanly. I also had him put in a drain where we were having issues. He came and did the job requested and I asked him to fix one thing that I wanted him to adjust and he was happy to do so. I am a satisfied customer. I will hire him again.

Prestige Gardens and his owner Cully deserves my highest recommendation for the following reasons - Ownership: Cully owned the project to deliver on time and with quality Engagement: He kept me fully transparent of the progress and engaged me to suggest changes and even ask opinions on choice of materials. Quest for Quality: He looked around and identified the few things that he would like to do to ensure overall bigger value. He trimmed my backyard trees to the right size even when it was not in scope. He also indicated his displeasure on a few overgrown vegetation in my front yard (totally unrelated work) and offered to trim them without bothering for extra money. Timeliness: Our original estimate was within 7 to 10 days, he completed in 7 days. Proper closure: Post project during the walkthrough we identified a few gaps. While some were by myself, a few were noted by him. With trust, I paid him the second and the last payment but he did appear again a few days later to close the gaps. This included buying some extra materials (pavers, glues, sand) as well as labor. Professionalism: He is the only person amongst 6 other contractors I talked to, who provided me a proper hand drawn sketch with exact sizes, and a detailed breakdown of the cost. His talk and all dealings were sincere and professional. He and his crew were meticulous and hard working. Can work in uncertainties: Our project included dismantling a deck and we were not sure of the ground below it. With certain assumptions we came up with the original estimate. After dismantling the deck, we found that there was hard concrete below and big roots under the soil and concrete. This needed extra work and material. He discussed with me the contingency plans but kept costs in control and did not charge me an extra penny.

Polo helped us install new sod, cut Branches from a huge pine tree to bring in more light, plant a bunch of plants and trees, and install landscaping pavers. It was a complete redo. Working with Polo was great. He has an excellent attitude, is very patient and helpful, and is very reasonable on pricing. Looking forward to doing more projects with his team.

As quoted, on time, neat and clean! They repaired the chimney & replaced the cap, installed stucco over the cement block/brick to seal the chimney from further deterioration. I would recommend them again. Reasonably priced and quality work.

Kevin worked quickly to gt us a bid to rebuild the rooftop portion of our chimney. We got two bids and this one was nearly half the cost in half the time. Th bid itemized labor and supplies with option to upgrade the brick quality. He was quick, professional and left no mess behind. I would have appreciated more communication. We didn't have a signed work agreement or even a written bid. The work was not done on the designated day but Kevin didn't call or email me to let me know. The work had been delayed because he had to order a part and seemed to have just genuinely forgot to call me. But since we had given him the deposit and had no signed work order, it made me a little nervous. All in all he did great work at a great price.

I found Sergio through Thumbtack after struggling to find any handyman services that weren't booked out weeks/months in advance and actually responded to me. I emailed Sergio from the website to initiate the process and from our initial email we began communicating via text message. Sergio came out on a Monday to provide a quote for significant yard work. The yard work included removing tons of overgrown and invasive plants on my grandmother-in-law's Kingston property (think blackberries et al) and removal of some random junk on the property, as well as cutting down of bamboo (grandma's property has a creek running through it and there's more bamboo than the fertile lands of Asia). Sergio reviewed everything we wanted done and quoted it would take about 40 hours with 3 guys to process the work and removal of everything we wanted done. The rate is $25 per hr per worker so the estimate worked out to about 3k. Of course, I'm always expecting unexpected things to come up and I have zero experience hiring someone to do significant yard work like this. Sergio and I agreed to the work via text after receiving the quote. The next Monday morning he and one of his guys showed up promptly at 8am and began hacking away at junipers and blackberry plants on the property with machetes (what. haha.) I live in Seattle so I wasn't easily able to come out and constantly check on their progress. Sergio had one guy with him on Monday and Tuesday-Thursday he had two guys with him. Initially, we planned on them finishing on Friday but something came up and they promptly came (four guys, actually) on Saturday and finished everything off. The actual cost for (approximately) 40 hours with 3 guys was about $3,300 with about $750 in dump run fees (yeah bringing all those trimmings and leaves sure get expensive at the Kitsap dump, I've done it on my own in the past). And then sales tax for his services a couple hundred. Overall, it was about 4k, which was 1k over budget but seeing as $750 was dump run costs and like $350 was sales tax, it totally met my expectations. Sergio and his crew are polite, fast, friendly, and hard working. I'm pleased that we selected Sergio for our yard work. They did a significant amount of yard waste hacking and removal. My grandmother-in-law is very attached to some of the plants so they were very careful about preserving and protecting specific plants (whichever plants so wanted stayed, and the overgrown invasive plants growing on top of them were removed) and Sergio and his crew were clearly professionals at handling these Pacific Northwestern flora. If you're looking for someone who will work hard for you and be very fair, I would recommend emailing, calling, or texting Sergio to bring him out for a quote. Other projects we are about to have done that Sergio may be involved with and stated he and his crew can do, and will quote separately: -power washing and painting her house -grading, levelling, and filling her drive way with rock -aerating and seeding grass and laying sod -placing pavers to create unprecedented walkways -removal of old fences and installation of new fences So in addition to yard and junk waste removal, as well as professionally manicuring her plants, shrubs, and trees, Sergio and his team can do pretty much anything. Contact him for a quote. I highly recommend. :)

Harold C. is great at the office! He worked with our busy schedule. The mason's that came to our home were professional and did top notch work. They repaired chimney crown, some brick work, flashing, pressure washed, and seal coated the chimney! Looks new! Definitely recommend this company. Yay Seattle Chimcare! - Tammie & Steve.

Quyen and his crew put in a new patio which required excavation, retaining and brick wall design with pavers for the patio. It is so beautiful! They came when they said they would, left everything perfect with no mess to clean up and finished on time! I would highly recommend them for any landscaping job! Quyen and his crew were so thoughtful and respectful.

We were in a bit of yard crisis when we hired Manuel and his team. Our contractor disappeared for a month without any word leaving our yard in mess and that's when we contacted Manuel through Thumbtack. He immediately came to check out the work and provided a quote, We first gave him a smaller project but seeing his team's work we gave them more work. They build stairs for us, did concrete pathway and pavers in the backyard. They also cut a big tree in the backyard and that created a ton of space. Backyard is looking really nice and we now love going to our backyard (we didn't use it for last four years since we bought the house). We will be giving him some more work. Only thing I would say is they are not cheap but they do good work.

Ryan Sarvis designed and implemented our backyard landscaping. We had just moved in to an older house that had been renovated but the back yard had been neglected for 40 years. Ryan took the time to understand what we were looking for and made constructive recommendations on plant types that would thrive in the setting. He came up with a beautiful design that included a paver patio with built-in benches, lighting, and a pool shed with a pergola that made the old pool look new again. The landscaping design was beautiful and provides much-desired privacy. His planning and scheduling was great and his leadership of the implementation team was outstanding.

Steve rebuilt my garden wall and light post using brick that closely matched the brickwork on the rest of the house. He was reliable, conscientious, and professional. He cleaned the area of debris after each day. His masonry skills are exceptional. Thanks Steve.
