Shawn's Exceptional, Multi-subject Tutoring

Introduction: My name is Shawn Brookins, and I am currently a biology and chemistry premed double major at Pacific Lutheran University. My long-term career goal is to become a pediatric neurosurgeon, but until then, I enjoy spending my time to inspire appreciation for and success in the sciences and mathematics as well as all common core subjects. My passion for tutoring stems from a deeply rooted belief that one's education is paramount in his or her lifetime towards achieving goals, fulfilling potential, and accessing new opportunities. Allow me to elaborate on my qualifications. I graduated salutatorian of my graduating class of 543 students, with a weighted GPA well above 4.50. During my high school tenure, I completed 8 AP courses, earning the highest honor of AP scholar with distinction. These courses were across an eclectic academic breadth, including calculus, chemistry, English literature and language composition, government, psychology, etc. Currently, I will be taking my second semester of calculus at PLU to fulfill my math requirement for my chemistry degree. Alongside this course load, I operated a successful tutoring business with volunteer tutoring also, totaling well in excess of 500 hours.
