FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Please see my bio.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically - Before I meet with the customer I get in contact with them by phone and prepare them for a face to face meeting and to have straight forward honest questions for me as I will for them when we get together (I always let the customer know the specific questions I will be asking them). When I meet with the customer to introduce myself I ask some straight forward questions (*What is the reason they are getting married? *What are their goals for their marriage? *What do they specifically want from me as the officiant of the wedding? *What are the specifics of the kind of wedding that they would like? (traditional, contemporary, short, long, fun, serious, vows, wedding party, music/songs, prayer, message, etc. What is the desired time, date and location. We also discuss the importance of us (myself and the couple) setting a few dates/times to meet and to continue to get acquainted and to ask questions and seek out the answers for the future of their wonderful future relationship.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have always loved weddings. The first wedding that I had even seen was when I was a teen. I was asked to be in the wedding that was for a friend of the family. I loved every bit of it! Since that time I have closely observed many wedings and all the details. I also had a desire to know what the Word/Bible had to say about them and have read many books on the subject also. Having been a pastor for over 25 years now...I have been invited to, observed, participated in and officiated in well over 100 weddings and love them more and more each one that I have the privilege of being a part of.
