I'm a yoga and meditation teacher who lives and breathes her work. I've been practicing yoga since I was 15 years old. (Yoga was only P.E. credit, I thought.) I knew by the third yoga class I took that teaching yoga was something I wanted to do!

-Restorative yoga for ultimate relaxation with the use of props
-Yin yoga for mindfulness and stretching the connective tissues

Populations I've taught:

I loved Hien's class and am so glad I hired her to hold space for my clients. I hired Hien after noticing that my clients were really struggling with all the events of 2020 and 2021. As a business coach, while I'm always looking to support my clients in a holistic way that includes emotional, mental, and spiritual support, those areas simply are not what my clients hire me for. I was looking for someone who would be able to hold space for us and also guide us through some movement such as yoga, as I believe in the importance of moving emotions through your body. I loved that Hien is trauma-informed and also took the time to honor the roots of yoga, which is often hard to find with many instructors. My clients and I truly enjoyed our class and I'm so glad I hired her. Hien was easy to work with and communicate with and did an excellent job. I highly recommend working with her and taking her classes.

I really liked how her class had a lot of different aspects and included not only yoga practice that was the right level for the students but also including yoga philoshophy and explainations of how the modern practice of yoga differs from it's roots as a practice. I als enjoyed learning different meditations, new stretches and poses.

Hien is truly a fantastic teacher. She provides a container for people to practice yoga and meditation in a way that honors both practitioner and tradition. She employs a lot of humor and humility in her classes, and I always leave feeling a little more whole and a little more at ease in my own body. Hien makes it a point to honor each students sense of agency, and this really fosters an atmosphere of empowerment. The best part of Hien’s offerings are that they are accessible to folks from all walks of life. From beginner to “master”, she has something for everyone!

Hien is really great at what she does. She’s very passionate and loves what she does so that makes her great. Her classes are very “relaxing” and peaceful. She looks around during class and sees how everyone is doing and if anyone needs extra telp like tera omfg and Hien tries to make everyone comfortable for example asking what the class would like to focus on today. She prioritizes what her students or those people want and make sure they kind of get wjat they came for.

Hien has a very genuine approach to teaching yoga. She guides the physical practice and uses it as a tool to reach the spiritual, which is something I don't encounter very often. Her teaching style is clear and calm, with just enough directions to guide the body while allowing a quiet atmosphere for the mind. She gives options and alternatives for a variety of poses, and makes yoga accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
