Browse these brick pavers with great ratings from Thumbtack customers in University Place.
I had patio pavers installed with removal of old deck first. Sam and his crew did an outstanding job. Sam has great design ideas if your not quite sure of what you want. They show up on time and work diligently and stay on schedule until the job is complete. I would highly recommend Sam and his crew. LaDonna
We just did a complete remodel of our backyard. It was literally torn down to nothing and rebuilt. The job involved removing existing patio, cutting down a tree, clearing all the plants, removing steps, leveling the whole yard, building retaining walls, fence, gates, laying a fairly large patio area with pavers, building a fire pit area with flagstone, drainage, sprinklers and planting. I hired G&E based on the reviews on thumbtack and I couldn't agree more with some of the reviews about their professionalism. They are easily among the best contractors I have worked with. Reliability, Punctuality, Accountability, Flexibility, and Quality are some of the key qualities I was looking for and they fit it perfectly. We are very happy with how our yard turned out and it is better than what we have envisioned. I would definitely hire Polo and team again for any future work. If you are looking to get any landscaping work, don't think twice about G & E.
Mr. Perez does very good work. I hired him to cut my lawn and also to put a paver walk way on the side of my house. I am very happy with the results. He and his crew worked efficiently and cleanly. I also had him put in a drain where we were having issues. He came and did the job requested and I asked him to fix one thing that I wanted him to adjust and he was happy to do so. I am a satisfied customer. I will hire him again.
Installed stone over brick fireplace. Kurtis was very efficient and professional. Work was of a very high quality
KV Masonry responded promptly, the work was accomplished quickly and the results look great. We are very satisfied and will use Valeriy's services again when next we need masonry work done.
Prestige Gardens and his owner Cully deserves my highest recommendation for the following reasons - Ownership: Cully owned the project to deliver on time and with quality Engagement: He kept me fully transparent of the progress and engaged me to suggest changes and even ask opinions on choice of materials. Quest for Quality: He looked around and identified the few things that he would like to do to ensure overall bigger value. He trimmed my backyard trees to the right size even when it was not in scope. He also indicated his displeasure on a few overgrown vegetation in my front yard (totally unrelated work) and offered to trim them without bothering for extra money. Timeliness: Our original estimate was within 7 to 10 days, he completed in 7 days. Proper closure: Post project during the walkthrough we identified a few gaps. While some were by myself, a few were noted by him. With trust, I paid him the second and the last payment but he did appear again a few days later to close the gaps. This included buying some extra materials (pavers, glues, sand) as well as labor. Professionalism: He is the only person amongst 6 other contractors I talked to, who provided me a proper hand drawn sketch with exact sizes, and a detailed breakdown of the cost. His talk and all dealings were sincere and professional. He and his crew were meticulous and hard working. Can work in uncertainties: Our project included dismantling a deck and we were not sure of the ground below it. With certain assumptions we came up with the original estimate. After dismantling the deck, we found that there was hard concrete below and big roots under the soil and concrete. This needed extra work and material. He discussed with me the contingency plans but kept costs in control and did not charge me an extra penny.
As quoted, on time, neat and clean! They repaired the chimney & replaced the cap, installed stucco over the cement block/brick to seal the chimney from further deterioration. I would recommend them again. Reasonably priced and quality work.
Dustin Concrete was helping us to put a new driveway and a concrete patio on our backyard. When we started we did not know how the final product should look like and had a plenty of questions. We have been impressed with the level of service provided by Dustin. He provided us with useful information about the project and also offered some suggestion on how to make the project better and cost efficient. Dustin was always on time and he communicated every detail of the project, so we knew what exactly is going on and what to expect during the next stage. As to the quality of work, we love the end product and would recommend his services to our friends and family.
I hired Chimney Doctors to clean the flue and the hearth bricks. Everything was done well and in a timely manner. The bricks look new again!
Harold C. is great at the office! He worked with our busy schedule. The mason's that came to our home were professional and did top notch work. They repaired chimney crown, some brick work, flashing, pressure washed, and seal coated the chimney! Looks new! Definitely recommend this company. Yay Seattle Chimcare! - Tammie & Steve.
I have know Raul for 6 years and I have seen the quality of work that he produces. I met Raul when I sold his personal home that he had done a full remodel on. The work was done with the highest standards. Recently he bought another property and took it from a place you would not want to live, to a beautiful top quality home with tile work, granite, new windows, siding, and much more. I have referred Raul to several of my customers throughout the years and they all speak very highly of his knowledge and work. Raul is a person that I feel comfortable referring to my customers on a regular basis
Kevin and his crew were awesome. We initially hired them to cover some of our brick exterior with Stucco. There was a mix-up with how the color appeared once it was applied but Kevin helped to get that cleared up and we are really happy with his work. We ended up also hiring Kevin to replace our old asphalt driveway with concrete and once again he and his team knocked it out of the park. I will definitely be using Kevin again for any future projects that his team can do.
Peter did a very good job for us. The paver walkway turned out great and is very durable. The quality of the project is what we expected and for the right price! I highly recommend Sta-built!
Ryan Sarvis designed and implemented our backyard landscaping. We had just moved in to an older house that had been renovated but the back yard had been neglected for 40 years. Ryan took the time to understand what we were looking for and made constructive recommendations on plant types that would thrive in the setting. He came up with a beautiful design that included a paver patio with built-in benches, lighting, and a pool shed with a pergola that made the old pool look new again. The landscaping design was beautiful and provides much-desired privacy. His planning and scheduling was great and his leadership of the implementation team was outstanding.
Excellent job. I would recommend Mario to anyone who needs brick work. He has identified and fixed leaks that no one else has been able to do. Terrific customer service and value for the money. I will hire Mario again
Matthew Clark painted the exterior of my Washington Court Apartments in Lakewood, WA. Not only did he do a fantastic job, he also made substantial repairs to the roof and facia boards that were rotting out. He goes the extra mile without being asked. I especially like the fact that he cleans up after himself every day before he goes home. He is really competent and fixes and repairs so many different aspects of my building. He also installed a really great surveillance system for me. I will surely call on Matthew anytime I need any repairs or work done for me.
We were building a home on an existing foundation, that had a burned down home, so we had limited space. We sat down with Kevin and were able to come up with a great floor plan. Kevin had great suggestions and made that process go very smoothly.
Installing plant material, replacing a cement sidewalk, and building a curved brick walkway to the front door.
I found Sergio through Thumbtack after struggling to find any handyman services that weren't booked out weeks/months in advance and actually responded to me. I emailed Sergio from the website to initiate the process and from our initial email we began communicating via text message. Sergio came out on a Monday to provide a quote for significant yard work. The yard work included removing tons of overgrown and invasive plants on my grandmother-in-law's Kingston property (think blackberries et al) and removal of some random junk on the property, as well as cutting down of bamboo (grandma's property has a creek running through it and there's more bamboo than the fertile lands of Asia). Sergio reviewed everything we wanted done and quoted it would take about 40 hours with 3 guys to process the work and removal of everything we wanted done. The rate is $25 per hr per worker so the estimate worked out to about 3k. Of course, I'm always expecting unexpected things to come up and I have zero experience hiring someone to do significant yard work like this. Sergio and I agreed to the work via text after receiving the quote. The next Monday morning he and one of his guys showed up promptly at 8am and began hacking away at junipers and blackberry plants on the property with machetes (what. haha.) I live in Seattle so I wasn't easily able to come out and constantly check on their progress. Sergio had one guy with him on Monday and Tuesday-Thursday he had two guys with him. Initially, we planned on them finishing on Friday but something came up and they promptly came (four guys, actually) on Saturday and finished everything off. The actual cost for (approximately) 40 hours with 3 guys was about $3,300 with about $750 in dump run fees (yeah bringing all those trimmings and leaves sure get expensive at the Kitsap dump, I've done it on my own in the past). And then sales tax for his services a couple hundred. Overall, it was about 4k, which was 1k over budget but seeing as $750 was dump run costs and like $350 was sales tax, it totally met my expectations. Sergio and his crew are polite, fast, friendly, and hard working. I'm pleased that we selected Sergio for our yard work. They did a significant amount of yard waste hacking and removal. My grandmother-in-law is very attached to some of the plants so they were very careful about preserving and protecting specific plants (whichever plants so wanted stayed, and the overgrown invasive plants growing on top of them were removed) and Sergio and his crew were clearly professionals at handling these Pacific Northwestern flora. If you're looking for someone who will work hard for you and be very fair, I would recommend emailing, calling, or texting Sergio to bring him out for a quote. Other projects we are about to have done that Sergio may be involved with and stated he and his crew can do, and will quote separately: -power washing and painting her house -grading, levelling, and filling her drive way with rock -aerating and seeding grass and laying sod -placing pavers to create unprecedented walkways -removal of old fences and installation of new fences So in addition to yard and junk waste removal, as well as professionally manicuring her plants, shrubs, and trees, Sergio and his team can do pretty much anything. Contact him for a quote. I highly recommend. :)
Quyen and his crew put in a new patio which required excavation, retaining and brick wall design with pavers for the patio. It is so beautiful! They came when they said they would, left everything perfect with no mess to clean up and finished on time! I would highly recommend them for any landscaping job! Quyen and his crew were so thoughtful and respectful.
Ross Concrete & Property Preservation Services did an exceptional job on both the residential and commercial projects I awarded them. They were able to deliver the scope of work timely and the quality of the work demonstrated a high skill set and true craftsmanship. The pricing was very competitive and throughout the change order process, they worked with me like a partnership, always taking my budget into consideration. I highly recommend them and look forward to many more successful projects in the future.
Completed work in a timley manner and did an excelleant job in building a new brick wall.
we had such a great expirence with Finishing & Flooring . We called them to come out and do some small projects in our kitchen and install our back door . I highly recommend them and Mom and I will continue to hire them for anything I need in the future.
Our investment company has used Orion Remodel for several years now, and continue to do so because of the consistency we receive in quality and professionalism. Orion Remodel has done everything from small maintenance jobs for our rentals to large portions of our home remodels, with quality that stands above any other company we have ever used. Perhaps the best part of using Orion Remodel is being able to get in touch with Adam, the owner, anytime. He returns phone calls promptly, which is something most contractors we have used in the past have severe trouble doing. I am sure you will get the same level of service from Orion as we have.
We were in a bit of yard crisis when we hired Manuel and his team. Our contractor disappeared for a month without any word leaving our yard in mess and that's when we contacted Manuel through Thumbtack. He immediately came to check out the work and provided a quote, We first gave him a smaller project but seeing his team's work we gave them more work. They build stairs for us, did concrete pathway and pavers in the backyard. They also cut a big tree in the backyard and that created a ton of space. Backyard is looking really nice and we now love going to our backyard (we didn't use it for last four years since we bought the house). We will be giving him some more work. Only thing I would say is they are not cheap but they do good work.
Alvarez construction came and did an excellent job painting my awning. They were extremely detail oriented and professional! I would definitely recommend them!
Dale was very good at putting in my new lighting fixture, which was more complicated than I thought. His price was good, he was very polite and knowledgeable and he took time to get it right. I would call him to see if he was available for any home improvement job I might have in the future. Give him a call. You will be pleased with him and his work.
Steve rebuilt my garden wall and light post using brick that closely matched the brickwork on the rest of the house. He was reliable, conscientious, and professional. He cleaned the area of debris after each day. His masonry skills are exceptional. Thanks Steve.
Mike is very capable and hardworking. He has done all kinds of work for me. Tile floor installation, Sheetrock, painting, electrical, brick patio, concrete work, etc. I highly recommend him.
I had BFrank Remodeling install my surveillance cameras around my house, Bruce (the owner) was the one that came to help us out. He did an awesome job, so we also decided to use BFrank Remodeling to completely remodel our linoleum floor through out the entire house. We happened to get Bruce back again which was great because we loved the passion and work ethic he had (Very hard to find these days). Any way great company, we will continue to use them for all future needs.
