FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At D&F Plumbing, Heating and Cooling, we believe surprises are great for birthdays — not service bills. During normal business hours, there’s a $139 Cost of Inspection to send a licensed technician to your home. This covers their time, travel, and professional inspection. After evaluating the issue, your technician will clearly explain what’s going on, walk you through your options, and provide pricing before any work begins — so you stay in control. If you’re dealing with a true emergency (like water going where it definitely shouldn’t) and we aren't able to squeeze you into our regular schedule, we offer Emergency Appointments with a $499 non-refundable inspection and emergency pricing. We also offer seasonal specials, cross-service promotions, and Pay Relief financing if needed. Our goal is simple: fix the problem, help prevent future ones, and make it manageable for your budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We keep things simple and stress-free: - We listen first. You explain the issue — we don’t assume. - We explain what to expect. Clear process, clear pricing, no guesswork. - A licensed technician performs a full inspection. They arrive in a well-stocked truck (basically a toolbox on wheels). - We show you your options. Clear explanations and upfront pricing. - You approve everything first. No work starts without your say-so. - We make sure everything works before we leave. Our goal is to make the experience smooth, transparent, and honestly… way easier than most people expect.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our technicians are licensed Journeyman Plumbers and HVAC Technicians who receive ongoing training in service, safety practices, and the latest technology. That means they can quickly diagnose issues, recommend the right solutions, and get things working again without guesswork. They also show up prepared with the tools and equipment needed to handle most problems on the spot — because multiple visits aren’t anyone’s favorite hobby.
