HIRE THIS MAN. Our flooring project was very small - simply patching a small section of floor after the removal of a decorative column. Most companies dropped communication on learning the size of the job, or insisted on a minimum $600 call out fee, or quoted as much as $1800. Val was different; he asked for information, he asked if he could mix the job in between larger jobs, and he quoted us $200 based on his anticipated time on the job. He planned ahead, he kept in touch, he was always courteous and professional, and his repair was masterful - you'd never know the floor was patched. Val also does other remodeling in addition to floors.
