- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't normally charge by any matrix. I tend to quote off of the job at hand. When it comes to shooting events, I will take into consideration that I will be working longer hours than a portrait shoot. My fee is usually a flat fee, which includes photo editing and the pictures themselves.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I took a photography class when I was a teen and it was love at first sight. In college, I chose a focus in photography. No pun intended.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My two most common jobs are parties/events and portraits for personal use. I often get asked to bring my gear to my own friends' and family's gatherings... My most loyal subjects!
