About
At Rot Busters, we bring many years of specialized experience in the rot repair industry prior to starting this company. We are Clark County's premier and truly dedicated rot repair contractor because we focus exclusively on structural wood restoration and decay remediation rather than general remodeling. While other contractors treat rot as an afterthought, we specialize in tracking down and eliminating hidden structural damage at its source. We never cut corners, even when it requires extra effort, and we take the time to ensure every repair is done right so you are 100% satisfied.

Rot Busters did a great job replacing our deck, which had started to rot and was becoming unsafe. They were very knowledgeable about the different material options and helped us choose composite decking and aluminum railings so we wouldnt have to worry about rot again in the future. The team was prompt, professional, and easy to work with throughout the entire project. We received multiple bids, and their pricing was very fair and competitive. Were extremely happy with how the new deck turned out and would definitely recommend Rot Busters to anyone needing deck repair or replacement.

The main wooden staircase leading up to our front door was beginning to rot, and the steps had gotten dangerously soft. After interviewing a few different contractors, we ultimately decided to go with Rot Busters because they specialize in water damage. We are so glad we did! Instead of just doing a quick surface fix, they built us a brand new wooden staircase in only two days. What really impressed us was the project manager taking the time to explain all the additional waterproofing they implemented below the composite steps to prevent future moisture buildup and stop the wood from rotting again down the road.Choosing specialists who actually understand moisture management rather than a standard contractor made all the difference in the final product. Their expertise gives us complete peace of mind, and we would not hesitate to recommend Rot Busters to anyone dealing with rot or water issues.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a detailed review!
Staircases are one of the most critical structural areas of a home when it comes to water management, so we’re thrilled to hear that you have complete peace of mind with the end result. Moisture hidden beneath steps is often what causes that dangerous rot in the first place, which is why our team prioritizes long-term preventative waterproofing over quick surface fixes.
We’ll be sure to pass your kind words along to the project manager and the rest of the crew, they take a lot of pride in building things to last! Enjoy your new entryway, and please don't hesitate to reach out if you ever need anything else.
FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are very transparent and upfront about our pricing. There are no hidden fees.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Whenever we work with a new customer we do our best to educate them on the process of rot repair. This includes the initial causes of water ingress and the potential effects, how demo/discovery works, and how change orders work if there is any additional damage uncovered.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Having grown up in the PNW and worked in construction our entire lives gives us very practical training on how to properly repair these homes from rot. This company was started with a very analytical approach after seeing how much damaged is caused by the smallest amount of water leaking in behind a wall. It is very important to us to make sure that whenever we perform a rot repair job that we make sure to prevent another leak from happening again the future.
