- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are IRS-licensed Enrolled Agents (EAs) authorized to prepare returns and represent taxpayers before the IRS and related state & local tax agencies. The EA designation is the highest credential the IRS awards to tax professionals. Enrolled Agents are referred to as "America's Tax Experts". We have been preparing tax returns for individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations for 10+ years. Our staff has worked for public accounting firms, tax preparation firms, and private organizations.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We just designed our own website and secure client portal to make the entire tax preparation process more simple in 2021. Come check it out - we're pretty proud of how it all looks!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We always urge potential clients to check your tax expert's credentials! Most of the time, it is a simple check you can do online for yourself. For tax professionals, ensure they are an Enrolled Agent (EA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or tax attorney. Additionally, we caution potential clients not to fall for the false advertisement that one tax preparer or accountant can get you more of a refund than another. It all comes down to knowledge and trustworthiness. If your tax professional is knowledgeable, he/she will get you the best refund possible the first time around.
