My name is Austin, I own Durable Wood Floors located in Brookfield, WI. I would love to come check out your project, meet you and go over the options we have available for you with a free quote. When are you available to do so? We make things as convenient as possible with our company so evenings and weekends are an option as well. I grew up doing hardwood floors with the Amish since I was 8 years old. I offer a level of quality you will rarely find and certainly not for my prices. We specialize in refinishing, installing and custom stain work. We are fully insured and registered with the state. You should consider using a site like Angie's list instead of thumbtack for skilled trades like this(Free as well). Thumbtack does not require its Pros to be insured, licensed or even thoroughly verify their reviews. I interviewed five flooring professionals for a 1906 Colonial Revival mansion in Wauwatosa and ultimately decided upon Durable Wood Floors. Austin of DWF was the *only* flooring professional willing to show me examples of the less-expensive buff and coat process on my floors utilizing a couple of different tints. Because I was able to see examples, I was able to *see* for myself that my floors needed a more aggressive approach (as they hadn’t been refinished in 60 years). Ultimately, Austin and his crew were hired to fully refinish, stain and polyurethane nearly 2,000 square feet of quarter-sawn white oak hardwood floors. The Durable Wood Floors folks are perfectionists with an impressive work ethic and were consummate professionals throughout the process. They gave me a date of completion, kept in contact with me and finished the job on time. Not only is the finished product beautiful, the floors have added a “wow” factor to the home. Durable Wood Floors were great to work with and do great work at a fair price. I'd happily recommend them. We replaced tile in Kitchen on our main level with hardwood floors, replaced carpet in a den on main level with hardwood floors, and then finished hardwoods on the entire main level to match. They were always very responsive throughout the process and the quality of the work overall was very good. the floors look beautiful.

These guys were great. Starting when I first contacted them, Austin was quick to respond, knowledgeable, gave the best quote compared to 3 other companies in the area and was able to schedule my job in a few weeks. They showed up as planned and were willing to take off some extra tack strips that I still had on the floors. They were hardworking, nice and professional. Most importantly, the floors turned out better than I imagined. I'm going to have them come back for another project and would highly recommend Durable Wood Floors.

We had an amazing experience with Durable Wood Floors. The team was there with us every step of the way answering my questions and explaining everything so I knew what the process was. Every team member was extremely kind and helpful. They spent a lot of time with me coming up with the perfect custom color so it was exactly what I wanted. I had a very specific vision in mind and they helped me to achieve that without trying to rush me in any way. I really appreciate their patience and willingness to make sure the floors were exactly what I wanted. They just did whatever they had to in order to get the job done. Our floors look BEAUTIFUL and I am very impressed with the job the team did. I would highly recommend Durable Wood Floors and will absolutely use them again!!
