Colin did an excellent job doing what amounted to remodeling half of my bathroom. He replaced the rotten subfloor, laid the marble tile floor, installed the new vanity, reinstalled the baseboards that I painted and finished up with caulking. His work was high quality, I felt at ease having him in the house, and I'll happily hire him again in the future for other tasks.

Colin was amazing! If I could give him 10 stars I would. Kind, asked what else he could do after he finished my punchlist of tasks and hauled away old furniture to a dump. If you’re looking for a wonderful handyman and cares about quality, cleanliness and doing the job right the first time, look to Colin.

Colin came to do some repair work on our walls and baseboards. Our dog had quite the run when she was teething. He did an excellent job of prepping our walls to be repainted. He worked quickly, was kind and polite and the work was reasonably priced. I definitely recommend.
Details: Baseboards • No, I will need the carpenter to provide the molding or trim • This is just an installation job - no design needed • As recommended by carpenter • 0 - 40 ft • I would like it painted

Colin was great. He came over to install crown molding in our dining room, which has plaster walls, does not have 90° corners, and it looks outstanding. I messaged him on a Sunday, he responded right away and did the install on Wednesday. Wife and I are very happy. Highly recommend.
Details: Crown molding • Plaster • Yes, I will provide the molding or trim • This is just an installation job - no design needed • Solid wood • 41 - 80 ft • I do not need it painted or stained

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a minimum of $150 for each appointment, then $60/hr after the first two hours. Projects needing multiple days and significant material costs will be provided an up-front itemized flat estimate, free of charge. Once we're agreed, I ask for a 1/3rd deposit to begin the project, with the latter 2/3rds paid on job completion.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Establishing trust and common ground is the critical first step in working with a new customer. My goal is to always ensure that all parties feel comfortable, and stress is kept to the absolute minimum. I have no hidden fees and keep all communication transparent.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've worked with a wide variety of tradespeople during my years in Milwaukee - every project is a valuable learning experience. I've apprenticed with very talented carpenters with a wide variety of specializations, from emergency restoration to general construction, fencing to finish carpentry. It's given me a broad skill set that keeps me flexible and lets me adapt to any work scenario.
