Karen has many years of Dog training experience. She is the best trainer in the area.
My personal experience with Windwalker is 1st rate. His kennel is clean and modern and I never worry when my dogs are in John's care. John did a great job with the training of my dog and has helped me become a better handler as well. His ability to read dogs and individualize their training to their ability is outstanding.
Our programs promote training focused on the use of positive reinforcement to strengthen relationships between humans and their canine friends. Our force-free training uses a combination of management and games to help your canine friend develop good manners and self-control. We specialize in training secondhand dogs adopted from rescues and shelters.
I have bred Chinese Shar-Pei for years and trained dogs for many years. I love to give animals baths and clip them. It's very rewarding.
If you have a new puppy or have a dog with behavior problems, I can help! I train, service and therapy dogs, foster animals in need, retrain problem behavior, rescue any animal in need, rescue animals when they are caught in dangerous predicaments, and re-home animals to good owners. I do NOT do big classes. I work one-on-one with the owners and the dogs.
Hi! My name is Jenna. I love to stay fit and I love dogs, so walking/running your dog would be ideal for me!
I am a certified dog trainer; I offer puppy kindergarten, basic obedience, and many levels of agility. I am a canine good citizen and star puppy evaluator. I have individual consultations also available. I also offer doggie daycare, boarding and grooming. Your pets have home away from home.
We have found that many dog training challenges are due to miscommunication between dog and owner. That is why our classes are designed to teach the owner how their dog learns, and teach the dog what behaviors they should do.Through this, we have a unique perspective on dog training.
Very frienly,at northwoods. Bo was very excitable when near other dogs. Bo also wanted to jump on anyone. Now I just tell him no and he stops and I put him into a sit. Now just looks at them and we continue walking. Because Bo had previous training she said she enjoyed working with Bo. Get an inhome visit plus 3 more training sessions with them. Would deffinately reccommend them to anyone with problems. Bo did not like people with hats and hoodies and now they are just another person to him. I just say friend and he continues to walk on. Sits, lays down on command heals very well. Places very well also. Very happy with Northwoods.. Joanie
I walk dogs and babysit them. I will come over, feed, give them water and take them to the bathroom if you're gone for a long time.
Love -Love -Love Pattis' class! She is so kind & knowledgeable! A wonderfully caring & generous spirit! Our dog,Bentley, has learned so much! Pattis' techniques have all the puppies doing new "tricks" after each class! Hoping she has another session for us when we "graduate" the beginners session!
I play with dogs and kids. I train the dogs and go for walks with the dogs and kids. I do something with kids like abc and others.
I find Patti a very approachable & extremely honest person. I took Spirit to her home on a Tuesday afternoon to get the training in motion. had several contacts with her & shared with me Spirit was a very special, intelligent & well behaved dog. around me & my other dog, Bentley, Spirit had a lot of puppy actions in him. Patti explained to me she took him along everywhere, including exposing him to her 80 something year old mother & friends at assisted living & he did great! anyway she called on Friday & suggested Spirit is such a well behaved dog & does everything I taught him (sit, down, stay, attentive to her & the biggest one, come) that I would be wasting my money to have her continue basic training. so that sunday I picked him up & he was there just 5-6 days. so everything had a way of working out for all of us. in training him when he was a very young puppy he was everywhere except focused on me. little by little I would work with him & to my surprise it has stuck with him. Spirit will be 2 on april 1 & I picked him up at 8 weeks old so he has been around me basically his whole life. I'm 70 & have raised puppies all my life. I now have cancer & heart disease so my energy level has been declining for a while so I just felt he needed more attention & training from someone besides me & I chose Patti. I would definitely recommend her & she is a pleasant person to be around. this was Spirits first time away from home without his pal Bentley & Patti said he did very well. appreciate your time & take care. Kat does a wonderful job with your puppy! We couldn't be happier with her training techniques, as it has left our lab a happy, obedient and very enjoyable pet! He is definitely a part of our family, and when they're at "Kat's house", they are a part of hers! I would highly recommend her to anyone, for any breed, without any concerns of how your pet will be treated. Take the time to get to know her, her property and her own dogs, as this will be your pet's home for a while. Also, know that your dog will really be loved on as he/she is learning how to be a more "behavable" dog for you, one who you can take hunting, camping, on family vacations, etc. and be proud of when people compliment you on how well behaved they are! This is a great investment, and will really help you to enjoy your pet to the fullest!
